The number of videos about Michèle released on TH-cam has grow tremendously over the last 2 years. Michèle's accomplishment has been standing there for decades. What were people doing in the meantime ? About freaking time they discovered her, duh.

your narration sells her short! she had over an hour lead over walter rohl. but her transmission blew and her mechanics screwed up changing it and walter was able to take the lead. when she got back in her car she was driving on the razors edge to get her lead back. even walter admits he only won this championship though pure luck!
I’m quite sure if they didn’t screwup changing the transmission they both would have taken the world title.
The Queen and her Princess would have been crown world champions.

Mouton didn't become famous when she was "spotted" racing in an Audi. She had already won rally races in the 70s in her Alpina 110 1800. She rally raced in a Fiat 131 Abarth and a Porsche 911 RS before moving to Audi. She also raced in the 24 hrs of LeMans driving a Moynet LM75 prototype, winning in her class. She's definitely the best female racer in the world up to this date.

They voice over part of Americans getting to train on the road for the Pike Peak Hill Climb year around is a lie. The road, the Pikes Peak Highway, back then and now is a road for normal car traffic to get to the top of the mountain.

It really wasn't very agile for rallies, especially on tarmac, or slippery surfaces if you compare with others "true" Groups B like a Lancias and Peugeot.
