- Probably the visitor of the year!
This aircraft is not rare, it is VERY RARE! One of the only 4 An-74 in the world with the engines under the wing! What an incredible visitor!! :D
This aircraft came with a delegation for talks with the United Nations to Geneva :)
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this beauty!!! :DD (unfortunately without sun :/)

The original An-72 and An-74 had engines mounted above the wings. This provided two advantages: 1) it reduced the possibility of engine damage from the ground debris during takeoff and landing, so it allowed the plane to be used on unpaved runways. 2) Engine exhaust over the wings provided addition lift due to Coanda Effect. So An-74 is capable of STOL (short takeoff/landing), but alas, this minor additional lift came at too much of an expense as the engines lost significant thrust. Hence this traditional under-the-wing-engine An-74TK-300. This variant had a much better fuel economy, thrust and longer range. There're only two above-wing engined planes: An-72/74 and Boeing Yc-14, designed to take advantage of the Coanda Effect. They're both design failures.
