I guess the morale of the story is sometimes love has always been in front of you , but sometimes your to busy looking some other place for it.

So the obvious question is: Even if he didn't give you the teddy, what's the harm in giving him a chance and going out for a drink with him?
Cause a lot of women believe in destiny, that someday, a handsome prince charming will come and sweep them off their feet, and they live happily ever after. Those overly romantic novels made them think like that.
That's a tall order for most of the guys out there. Personality is rarely an attraction. Looks, money and smooth talking are the things that count now.

it will be no harm to go out for drink but i will not be "The Unconventional Love".
But you don't always know what that handsome prince looks like: sometimes he is totally different from what you expected... Personality and kindness is what I'm interested in, and if he's really matched for me and we really click and can truly love each other, honesty, authenticity, generosity, community mindedness...
You know, he could totally go back to the bookshop and go after her again! It doesn't have to end this way!

I think this film tells us about not judging, and that there may not be a single destiny man out there, but many boy that could be, only if you wish to connect and don't miss the chance. Even talking to people you might think are one of many faces you think you'll never see again like in the bus stop or while in line to buy something, it is unimaginable to think how many events can develop from the simple choice of choosing to smile, talk or make a humorous comment to someone you don't know.

okay too many questions:
1. obviously she wouldnt give the guy a chance because her memories was that other boy who gave her that teddy bear. but the other boy (the main actor), never made an appearance in her life. he only liked her from a far. so she never knew who he was at all
2. that leads me to this question: why couldnt he remember her? well maybe cause its been years.
so conclusion: she likes boy A cause he gave her a teddy. Boy B likes her, but neve ever told her and even spoke to her. therefore, obviously there wouldnt be any relationship between the two, unless he told her that he drew that (i know he did tell, but maybe he could have elaborated like he could have told her he drew it when he was little) and then he waited for her every day at the park. SOMETHING you know.
If he had tell that he waited every day in the park, she would had start running until a sea get in frond of her.
The fact that he liked her so much to drawn her back then,should have been enough to give him a chance to meet each other.
The fact that they are both alone and obviously do like each other+communication wall down already, makes this girl stupid denying to meet him.
She also could have asked why he did draw her and had pictures of that specific park. He always missed the time to talk to her, but since he was not EXACTLY what she imagined, she didn't even consider giving him a chance when he finally got the time right... None of them tried a bit harder and ended up letting "destiny" slip through their fingers.

Comments like these are probably one of the reasons why people hide in their shells and are afraid to reach out to people. She probably isn't that choosy. Also, it wasn't her choice to have a red mark on her face. Very mean thing to say, very uncalled for. Maybe... She was just too overwhelmed, and was probably in shock cause she didn't see that coming. All the while she thought there was just one little boy in that play ground that paid attention... Apparently someone else was there watching her from afar, like the ways she watched the other kids. Someone else apparently cared for her existence... Even documented her... Even drew her. How can you draw someone with so much detail... Yeh? He must have been thinking about her... A lot! :3
Anyhow... The video may have concluded. But it doesn't really have a definitive ending. Maybe their love story will continue, maybe romance will blossom. And I would love to think so... 😘

What's with all the comments ranting about the ending? With a title like "An UNCONVENTIONAL Love Story", I thought that a bad ending was instead fitting. In fact, I felt that the ending teaches us about the harsh reality of love in real life.
An unconventional love story that unconventionally triggers one's heartstrings - I hope there will be a sequel to conventionally tie up the loose ends.
Real life doesn't usually romanticize love stories like the media does.
This is a depiction of real life.
Hence the meaning of "unconventional" in the title.
Doesn't have a happy ending but it's a great video :)

ermmm i think .... "the chance slip by again.." is just because he did not explain it to her..... that hes not the who gave it (the bear) literally, but he send another boy to help him gave it to her... but the book of the memories was done by him... hurmmmm....... deep....

Hi, I don't want to bother but maybe one of you knows about a Singaporean short film where a girl meets a guy that used to ask her out all the time at a bus stop in junior high but she always said no and then they meet later because he's an Uber driver, eventually they go out and stuff but then she loses contact with him and finds out he's dead?
