Thank you for making this video. There wasn't a lot out there explaining the different settings like you did, especially when connected to a keyboard. This helped me a lot to understand if it would work.
Hi mr. Dan. Thank you for this demo. Really helpful, and about the only one showing the real capabilities of the pedal with keyboards. I have a question, if you could answer. When the keyboard/synth is connected to the instrument input, is it just driving the internal synth in the VO1, depending on the selected (advanced, vintage, etc), or the real sound coming from the synth is used as real carrier? I mean, changing for example, the sound of the synth, will it give a different result or always the same, since the VO-1 will only see the incoming instrument sound and just converting it in pitch and note length for the internal synth? Thank you in advance and sorry if my English is not fluent. All the best
Thank you for this, Dan. I'm looking for a way to create a layer of background vocals from keyboard harmonies. Ideally, I'd sing into a mic and have it output fairly clean tones (with recognizable vowels/consonants) according to my keyboard pitches. First I was looking at talk boxes, but those don't seem quite right for that job. Wondering what happens if you set this pedal to "choir," sing with a mic, and use a keyboard to control the output pitches?
This is one of the best demos of the pedal on TH-cam! Mahalo nui, thank you & aloha! 🤙🏽
Fantastic piece of equipment that won't leave you speechless.
Haha
High-quality demonstration, well executed!
Great video, thanks

Thank you for helping me click that little add to cart button. Very excited to play around with one of these.

Nice Dan, I've never really understood what one of these did properly 😎
Very very instructive, thank you!
I love this pedal but it’s a beast for power - hates being on my pedal board power supply
It depends where you put it in the chain..Try putting it at the start..Youl figure it out depending wat other pedals u have
Sold!
Good demo bro cheers for that👍🏻🙏
Can you use the microphone in tandem with the choir mode?
Man that's cool
you sold me one :)

I think that would be your way to go to get clean chords...
But can you run it with miku?
Haha good one
Can the mic be used as a normal mic when the pedal in bypassed?

I’ll investigate that and get back to you. I’m fairly sure it doesn’t work like that, in that the guitar signal only passes through.
