As of today, 12/8/2024, Dyson V11 Torque Certified Refurbished (I purchased one and it looks like brand new no sign of damage or usage) is $279.99 at Dyson's official eBay store including 2 years extended warranty provided by SquareTrade an Allstate company compared to only 6 months Dyson warranty offered at Dysons official website. (I believe first 6 months Dysons warranty then SquareTrade takes over)
For those on the fence trying to decide which version or should you buy a 300 to 500 dollar stick vacuum, I highly recommend the v11 and up. I was nervous i would regret spending so much on a stick vacuum and wind up with buyers remorse but not this time, these things are awesome you wil be amazed what they can do and how powerful they are. Everyone that uses mine is blown away. Cant go wrong with them.
I bought the Dyson Digital at Target for $230 on a Black Friday sale. I absolutely love it. It's lightweight, works well, and is perfect for me as a shorter person. I want another one, but I'll wait for a major sale. I don't think the Digital is worth $500, given that it doesn't have as many features as the others.
Been doing some research last couple days. I think I'm going with the V11. Its going for $350 right now and as you said... It's just the better value for the price. I don't need the extra particle reader lol.
@@YanaSLeeAhh okay.. yeah it was a solid deal. V11 Extra from Dyson's site. Amazon and Target were selling the Origins model which didn't come with all the extra attachments for the same $349 price. Looks like the prices went up today sadly. Thought it'd at least last thru Cyber Monday.

Get at least V8 if your needs are low and light, also money decision. I have both V7 and V8. Had them for 3-4+ years. So far so good. But if you’re willing to spend more, get at least V11. V12 and V15 are the best of the Dyson stick vacuums. Some people do want them to be lighter due to their physical limitations. In that case V8 or slim ones are better. I want bigger battery and bin, so I do not recommend slim due to lower battery+debris bin capacity.
cat hair test would be more accurate if you really rub the fur into the carpet so the fibers stick to the carpet. then we can see which vacuum can *really* keep up with cat households 😄 useful input otherwise, thank you!
@@icerado I'm from Poland. I didn't buy it as a whole; I assembled it from parts. Everything is new except for the battery and the dust container, which are replacements but also new. I bought the motor, body, and filter from the official service in my country, so I have a 12-month warranty. I managed to buy the electric brush with two attachments and the charging station as new from a private seller.

The V11 now comes with a removable battery... since before your video was posted.

All Dysons have replaceable batteries. Some you just need to unscrew and screw 3 screws
