    Thanks Matt for the explanation on Flow and Opacity. I purchased the Texture package several weeks ago and am really pleased with the results. Thanks so much.

    Hi Matt, Thank you for your channel. I'm not good with photo editing and having tutorials is really helpful. As for this blending method, I am not a fan of smudging the edges of a background texture into an image. Watching the tutorial I kept expecting you to say "and the trick is ..." to change blending mode to luminosity or or colour or something to more closely match the light and tonality of the foreground image to the background.

      Hi Don. Changing the blend mode would not have gotten me the image that I wanted and it would not have blended as well as it did.

    I'm almost thinking this was better than the segment in the course? You've matured in the way you're explaining it if that makes sense...

    How about a tutorial on creating textures ourselves or selling one. Just a thought.

      The course does teach how to create our own textures. It takes quite a bit of practice and depending on the power of your computer it can take some time to create the texture due to the power needed to process the brushes being used.

    Was there a reason not to put the texture layer behind the bird or doesn't it make any difference whether in front or behind?

    • @MattKloskowski
      @MattKloskowski  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope doesn’t make a difference. Same result just different ways to get there.

    Hi Matt What about feathering and moving the mask via levels, contract etc. would these be other options?

    • @MattKloskowski
      @MattKloskowski  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. That could work in adjusting a perfect mask if that's what you wanted, but that isn't what you want in this type of image when it comes to blending. Thanks!
