Growing up in West Salem, this was a warm memory for me. Christmas time in Salem , the Lovefeast - I can still smell the candles, such a wonderful scent they have. The cookies too, that my Grandmother baked for me each Christmas. We even decorated the tree with the cookies, and every home had the Advent Star on the front porch. Wonderful memories.
I've been to many of these services and love them. They're the most beautiful service I've ever been to. I thought midnight mass in the Catholic Church was wonderful, but this has it beat. (I'm catholic BTW)
