Hilarious. Back in the day, Elsworth made a tandem DH bike. Rode it at a tradeshow with a buddy and being on the back was the most terrifying, out of control feeling I've ever experienced. Jono's experience brought that trauma rushing back 😂
At my first ever DH race back in the 90's at The Leaping Lizard in Laguna Beach there was a couple on a custom full suss GT DH tandem bike. The husband was a designer at GT. On the front they had a Rock Shox DHO with moto sourced 800 lb. springs. They had a loop of rope around the fork arch and the lower crowns, just in case the cir clips, which were definitely going to come out, might come out. They were incredibly fast. That poor woman on the back!
