Bugger me Blake you beat me! I’m working on my rear triangle currently! Our frame jigs are sorta similar, that dude from BTR is phenomenal too! Stoked on this!
An awesome job! Deffo want to see a Version 2! Also, I always knew Blake was a salt of the earth guy, but he's reinforced that through the fact he likes Marmite!!
V2 needs to be done! Get it on a modern sized shock, and a through axle. And obviously the clearance is minimal at the moment, which im sure you can change. Top stuff!
Actually a great build like you say frame great and with a bit of work I'm sure you'll get the crank knocking and other issues resolved, looking forward to seeing second version, thanks for sharing Blake an GMBN!
Very cool! As follow up before V2 would be cool to get some pro frame designer look at it comment or and maybe calculate characteristics . You know all these progression curves, anti squats etc. Still extremally cool!
We all need version 2.0 ... Hell you guys got me into MTBs... I'm rubbish and never hit a real trail... but hell i love the nature... keep on going.... sadly i'm even more rubbish in building stuff :D
I really want to see the V.2 of this bike, with legit testing... let's bring this bike to market with all the power and connections gmbn has at its disposal.
Great build Blake. During the process you mentioned naming the bend in the down tube and I got a good one for you. Big Bend. Right? any way Good stuff mate, keep it rolling. Cheers - M
Blake just needs to redesign that rear a little and instead of the Willy Waver he'll have the Bingers Zingers. That's pretty damn good for a first effort. Nice one Blake.
This has got to be the next stage in a cyclists life.To build your own, design it how you want it.Comes from years of riding you find out what you really need from a bike
Blake, huge respect as always, but i can see some heavy flaws on that thing and i'm no engineer dude 😂 next time at least have some base measurements for the dimensions of the frame. The way your linkage is built you have too much longitudinal displacement of the axle rather than just up and down, you could've put the linkage mounts on the rear of the seatpost instead of the front and a bit further up, it would stretch the wheelbase backwards but it would make the kinematics a thousand times better, give you full usage of your rear shock and a notizably better response. I would also advice to use wider tubes on the rear triangle to reduce flex while cornering, the extra surface area on the soldered parts would also increase structural integrity Edit: i hope what i meant came across, i think i'm missing a little bit of terminology to fully explain what i mean with the flaws
What would you rather build? A hardtail of full suspension MTB?
I would probably be able to build a hardtail if i had the tools, but i'd have more fun failing to build a proper full sus 😂
Hard tail because less to go wrong but a hard tail is a classic
I think a full sus would be fun to build, but it would probably turn up to like a motocross bike 😂😂
built both, cruiser bikes tho.
Blake may have been easyer to follow an orange frame single pivot but hey that rig still looks trick mate 🤙
Yes! Version 2 please! And do magavalanche on it!
Haha good one. Would be very nice
That one unemployed friend on a Tuesday be like
A motivated man none-the-less. Although he'd be very useful in a machine shop!!
Was that an homage to Berm Peak in the first few seconds? 😂
😊
Ye
You are the representation of a real mountain biking: Cool dude, passionate, keeping the basics, not the marketing.
Greetings mate!
MK II hell yeah. This is easily some of the best content. Also Blake is just good vibes no matter what he's doing.
Sick build, V2 has to be made! Glad to see you rocking Worx power tools too I can't fault them! 🤘
definitely going to use this for my school project next year!!
Well done Blake ! Cant wait to see Mark II 🤟
I was just watching my way through the Blake Builds playlist, and then this is posted today 🙌
More of Blake Builds please! Very entertaining and relaxing for us beautiful people!
More Blake builds!!!! Great video. You look sooooo happy riding it.
BTR. Excellent Fabricator.
Awesome build. Looking forward to seeing version 2.0.
Blake’s upping his game!
that front triangle is so sick once the rear has had some tinkering and looks amazing id buy one for sure
Called in the big guns! BTR are some serious rigs
LETS SEE PART 2
Hats off Blake. 👏 🎉 for my eyes the bike looks amazing ❤
Amazing build. Makes me want to go in to the garage and make my own.
Mild steel will flex a lot. So not surprised the rear end flexes with the smaller tubing.
Yes please more of blake builds!!🙏🤩
Bugger me Blake you beat me! I’m working on my rear triangle currently! Our frame jigs are sorta similar, that dude from BTR is phenomenal too! Stoked on this!
Definitely want to see u rebuild the rear end I love these videos
It's a great start.Go on
An awesome job! Deffo want to see a Version 2! Also, I always knew Blake was a salt of the earth guy, but he's reinforced that through the fact he likes Marmite!!
Yes, please plan a 2.0 build for that rear triangle!
V2 needs to be done! Get it on a modern sized shock, and a through axle. And obviously the clearance is minimal at the moment, which im sure you can change. Top stuff!
Thanks Blake. One if the best GMBN videos in a while. If anyone knows a yt channel that does frame builds like that link it please
Actually a great build like you say frame great and with a bit of work I'm sure you'll get the crank knocking and other issues resolved, looking forward to seeing second version, thanks for sharing Blake an GMBN!
Great to see Burf. ❤
you've outdone yourself Blake this is sick
Waiting for version 2!
The finest British engineering. Well done, sir.
What a legend.
So cool! It's awesome to make your first full suspension bike!
This is great!!! More stuff like this.
Blake made the best content. Love it bro! ❤😂🎉
Friggin great. Lets see Gen2
Damn, that was the best thing I have watched for a long time!!!
Waiting for wheelie mk2 =))
You are very, very brave and extremely resourceful man Mr. Samson :D
Reminds me a bit of Ellsworth of Old...
Fair play to you man, it's much better than the last one, I'd say that your next one will be something else. Keep it up👍
Oh yes v2 would be great
Please do a v2 and more it’s a great idea, i’m working on a frame myself
Very cool! As follow up before V2 would be cool to get some pro frame designer look at it comment or and maybe calculate characteristics . You know all these progression curves, anti squats etc.
Still extremally cool!
Cool, very cool. Version 2 please!!! I Will copy kkk
Love the Seth's Bike hacks kind of intro :)
This 💯 needs to be a multi part series!
We all need version 2.0 ... Hell you guys got me into MTBs... I'm rubbish and never hit a real trail... but hell i love the nature... keep on going.... sadly i'm even more rubbish in building stuff :D

he was going so fast so brave on that thing
Well done legend
Yus! Give us V2 of the bike !!
Awaits Willy Mk2. 🤘. Blakes crazy builds. 👌👌👌
score yourself a pair of cranks with a wider Q factor and your money burv. I think the Shimano SLX 11spd cranks might be the the ones :) sick build!
Blake Builds! Sick Bike! 😎🤙🔥
That is bloody awsome!!
If you had gone with a steeper seat tube I think the seat stay area would have been easier to make work
Finally! Been waiting for this
I really want to see the V.2 of this bike, with legit testing... let's bring this bike to market with all the power and connections gmbn has at its disposal.
I've been waiting for this for so long
🚴🚴😃😃
That is a rear triangle only a mouther could love ;)
That bar that flexing, you can turn them into ladder bars.
Do a box section single pivot a la Orange and see how good you can make it ride
The Crab II: This Time, It's Personal
2:48 don't ever point your camera at a laser, it can damage the sensor!
1:35 nice
Definitely a V2 on the rear triangle
V2 👌
Try to make a single pivot one Blake, would be nice and simple enough for me to follow😅
Chapeau.
V2 pls, then a Freeride‼️
awesome, carbon bike build up next? hard tail or gravel
Great build Blake. During the process you mentioned naming the bend in the down tube and I got a good one for you. Big Bend. Right? any way Good stuff mate, keep it rolling. Cheers - M
Blake it's a perfect bike for Rampage 2025 - now you have no excuses 😆
Willey 2.0 !!
Well done Blake ...now give it to Mr Pilgrim to test 😁
Blake just needs to redesign that rear a little and instead of the Willy Waver he'll have the Bingers Zingers. That's pretty damn good for a first effort. Nice one Blake.
Детская мечта, сделать свой байк
This has got to be the next stage in a cyclists life.To build your own, design it how you want it.Comes from years of riding you find out what you really need from a bike
Mk2 👍
version 2 pls
time to learn how to TIG weld.
Is mig welding ok for frame building?
based Seth reference at the start
Finally!!
mk2!!!!!!!!
Awesome dude 🎉🍾👍🏻☕️
I thought I recognized some Kona DNA from the thumbnail
Sick

hope he covered up those stanchions whilst he was slinging those welds down
version 2
Please do a mk 2
Rocket propelled recumbent
Fuck yeah, thats the manliest thing ever
Do some work on the rear triangle and its gonna be fine enough for most stuff :D
The Fishy Willy! 🤣🤣
Where are the wireless brakes?
