I had that Matchbox one as a kid! Okay, I lie, I had it as a kid... and I still have it. It's on my 'Ferrari' shelf and nobody shall take it away from me! Nice work. I was a little doubtful, but it turned out well!
Nice restoration. This is the first vid on this channel I've seen, so I'm not sure if it has been done before, but yellow'ed windscreen/window part can be improved using hydrogen peroxide and UV lights. There are many vids here on youtube showing how to remove yellowing of plastic using that method.
I took the hot wheels four wheeler apart when I was a kid in the 80s and used slot car wheels and tires on it. It looked bad a$$ after that. Miss those days.
Nice work as always, I really love to watch your videos and how you turn ordinary beat up and run down cars into a work of art. I don't comment much butfor reference I watch your videos more often then other builders videos and consider you the KiNgPiN diecast man. Thanks for the video!
I Will always remember when i had a large collection of matchbox cars and my older friends would invite me to take all the cars outside so we could play together. Every time they would steal and remove the paint at home so that I wouldn't recognize them later. But I recognized my cars whenever I went to them. There were dozens of them.
Transformed dramatically from a smashed up 1980s kid's toy into a superb item that AutoArt or someone would charge nearly £25-£30 for. Wonderful effort & so nice to see one of the few beautiful cars of the 1980s looking brand new, straight from the factory at Modena....
That's beautiful. I ise to the 1/18 scale cars. The auto arts cars were the best ones to do. I can redo any 1/18 scale car but I don't do them any more. It was a nice expensive hobby.
Excellent work on this gorgeous Ferrari Testarossa! I remember seeing these for the first time back in the 80s and finding them to be very cool and I'm a Porsche fan! Do you remember the white Testarossa Don Johnson drove in Miami Vice?!
Suberb! Had this very model and always thought the enlarged Ferrari badge and random wheel pattern looked a bit naff. Recreated exactly how it should have looked. Also had a Countach model with a garish black, orange and white racing insignia. Don't suppose you have that and could do it justice too?
Nice. So glad you kept this one stock. No wide body just like it was on a showroom floor.
Is the ground effects stock .?
Ferrari would probably send a cease and desist letter otherwise

Minor? Thats Major in my book! Beautiful!
Beautiful new lease on life for this old Matchbox, well done!❤💛❤
An excellent restoration with minor mods that make it look fantastic. Wish I had it in my collection
Wow. I had this when i was a kid. Wished i could get you to fix my old mercedes matchbox. Great stuff.
Sinceramente de lo mejor que he visto en restauración.
Felicitaciones

I was thinking Retrobrite would help?
I used to have both this and the Hot Wheels one when I was younger, and always preferred the proportions of the Matchbox better, wide instead of long.
Beautiful. Now that is a Ferrari. 😎☕🥐👌💯

Amazing work. As a toy collector and also a design engineer I appreciate the time and effort put into this. End result is fantastic!

I still have my original Testarossa at home. Kids love playing with it.
Hi, this video is perfect. You gave Ferrari another chance for a nice model. Great for me!! 👌👍👍👍
damn. this very model was my favourite in my collection growing up
Great job ! Beautiful model

Hey, that’s a nice resto custom.
I found a yellow one of these the other day all beaten up and already separated from its rivets.
A steal at 50p.
A amazing car and looks amazing and a great job and amazing work in it and it looks amazing and a great paint job.
Wow, what kind of baby bot generated this comment?
Woooow I had this one. Nice job 😊
This came out so rad!! Can’t wait to restore my F40!! Man I’m getting pumped!!
Ahh the Ferrari Red Head. One of my Favourites 👍
This car was my pride and joy as a child. 👍🏼😁
Brilliant job - the finish looks perfect.
Outstanding! Love the new owner too!
One of the few real wins on channels like this. Very nice actually!! Steering wheel should have been black though.
Wow.... And I thought the original red-head from Hot Wheels was nice.... Good job!
I never liked that car but what you to do it makes it beautiful. Good job.
Great result ! From an old toy to a little masterpiece
Masking up the wheel centres to paint the rest of the barrel in chrome silver was an obsessive level of precision.
very nice finish!
very nice indeed.
Amazing job. My only complaint is that rear decal is slightly off-center, and that would drive me nuts, but other than that, stellar work.
Beautiful! I would call this ‘major rebuild’! 😄
Spectacular work and details.❤😊
Great job 👏🏻 rims looks sick… I just sold a load of old toy cars and in the bundle I had this Ferrari and lots of others..! 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️

Looks sick! Nice work!
Bagus sekali, Aki! Very, very nicely done restoration. 🍁☕👊
I had that same car when I was younger 😁😁
Very nice. Surprise you didn’t put a engine in back 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
A little tip for yellowing is hydrogen peroxide and a uv light. It'll take the yellowing right off.
Ahh a resto/custo job, nice one!
Awesome work. What screws did you use at the end?
Nicely done
This would have looked great in white as a replica of the Testarossa in Miami Vice.
Nice paint job, not sure of skirts, lose them over first speed bump😉
Damn I’m old I had this one as a kid.. it was my prized one of my collection lol
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rated

Pure freaking art !!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are a freaking artist
Beautiful!
Wow. Looks great
dam nice job!...can you do my life next?...thx
Love it
Great outcome.
What is the white material used for ground effects and the other updates?
Car turned out spectacular
Why not use UV light and peroxide to remove the yellow from the glass?
My thoughts exactly. It's a miraculous process.
If I remember right, these windshields were yellow when new. Matchbox did that a lot.
It's actually supposed to be yellow (I had this car when I was young)
How does that work? I have a UV light for my 3D printer and would love to know the process
What WICYOMVAE OAEN SVLE means ?
Ficou show de bola este carrinho Ferrari meus parabéns.
Wonderful
Looks epic!!!
Hermoso ,me gustó el buen trabajo
Great work! How did you restore the windows ?
So much for two thin coats. Nice job!
Amazing!
Better than new!
Is that water and soap to clean the windshield? What does that adhesive you added for?
Yes, only soapy water and sandpaper, finish with PU clear coat
😊🚔🏎🚛🚕🚙🚗🚖😍😃❤😊😃😍
