Actually legends Palpatine with his force storm hacks could destroy whole fleets solo..they're both the equivalent of omega class psykers, and while maybe vader would struggle in a straight up physical duel he could win through force hax fersure. Palpatine could win either with his Saber or his powers low diff either way.

Why would any Custodes be dealing with a light bulb, that is a problem for the adeptus mechanicus and involves a three hour ritual involving candles, sweat, and lubricant.
They are the bodyguards of the Emperor, given some of the best war gear in the entire imperium. Look at it this way, nearly all space marines need to walk in terminator armor (extremely heavy and highly durable armor), the Custodes can *run* in it. 3 full space marine chapters were up against 100,000 orcs and their warlord, the emperor came by with his 1,000 custodes, he himself went after the warlord while his men went after the horde. Out of the 1,000, only 3 died, while the entire horde of 100,000 lay dead in the fields of battle. That is one of the finest examples of why you should never mess or fight with a Custodes.

Can you ask them to stop getting oil all over the place? in the last hour 6 menials broke their necks by slipping into things on the frictionless floors and another one managed to slide straight into a reactor. Have you ever had to clean menial out of a fusion reactor? It's messy.

Warhammer has a lot of power creep and over the top lore. That is why one of the rules GW has is that much of the lore is propaganda. As for Custodes being the greatest height of humanity...no. The federation far out paced the Imperium to the point the older races mock the Imperium of being techno barbarians in comparison. Hell, most astartes use federation trash collectors as combat vehicles.

The Adeptus Custodes are the pinnacle of imperial might. They guard the palace of holy Terra with a training regime that makes the Grey Knights look tame by comparison. Custodes are powerful enough to give Primarchs a headache and lore wise; just a few of them could tear apart Abaddon the Despoiler and his inner circle like they were rowdy children; which is largely why Khorne's legion got on Terra, but never made it passed the gates of the imperial palace. This isn't just some low end legion of daemons either; this was an army lead by an elite blood thirster, and one that even the Grey Knights would have had trouble with. The Custodes literally destroyed a Khornate invasion that the Grey Knights would have been found wanting. Abaddon the Despoiler would not have lasted a minute in the ring with the Custodes; in spite of his table top rules and set up, lore wise the custodes would have had him the minute he set foot inside the imperial palace. And there aren't just a couple of the custodes either; there's thousands upon thousands of them.

This was the Custodes (note they called for aid from titan and it doesn't mention the Knights actually aided them) and a few other armies. The chief reason I say the custodes could beat Abaddon comes from the fact Big A uses armies and armies of followers to do his dirty work; then he himself shows up to finish a weakened foe, if he showed up alone they would have him.

Wasn't he one of the Gal Vorbak, the first possessed space marines? They were quite a bit beyond regular possessed not to even mention regular marines. That's not to say punching through Auramite isn't stupid anyway.

Never forget, A Custodes is the literal cream of the crop. They have the top of the line equipment and training and are among the greatest warriors in 40K.

This is why Custodes are the best. They are perfect. They exceed Ultra Marines. They're also the most expensive to produce. I don't think any have been made since before the end of The Last Church. The Emperor only produced 10k of them. At least one is in suspended stasis.
A single Custodian is more powerful than most Astartes Armies, and I'm pretty sure that they have been compared to Primarchs at least once, which really says something.
A Named Custodes (named ones are more powerful than regular Custodes) didn't want to fight Asterion Moloch (Chapter Master of the Minotaurs) because the Custodes had doubts if he was even able to defeat Asterion.

Considering the Emperor's massive army of Golden People killed 100,000,000 orks and lost only 3 of their own, this actually isn't all that big a stretch.
The Custodes are worth about 10-20 standart Space Marines, the Primarch is worth 100-300 Space Marines, and the Emperor is worth two-four Primarchs(Horus was buffed by 4 chaos gods). The Space Marines that attacked Terra were newcomers who were made a few years before the Battle of Terra due to which they have no combat experience and their armor is solid slag "Мк.V Heresy". Which made 1 Custodes worth 100+ Traitor Space Marines in "MK.V".
If I had a penny for every time that custodes tapped his spear in some gravel in this 1:41 long animation, I'd have 6 pennies. It's not alot but it's strange that it happened 6 times.

The Adeptus Custodes are the pinnacle of imperial might. They guard the palace of holy Terra with a training regime that makes the Grey Knights look tame by comparison. Custodes are powerful enough to give Primarchs a headache and lore wise; just a few of them could tear apart Abaddon the Despoiler and his inner circle like they were rowdy children; which is largely why Khorne's legion got on Terra, but never made it passed the gates of the imperial palace.
This isn't just some low end legion of daemons either; this was an army lead by an elite blood thirster, and one that even the Grey Knights would have had trouble with.
The Custodes literally destroyed a Khornate invasion that the Grey Knights would have been found wanting.
Abaddon the Despoiler would not have lasted a minute in the ring with the Custodes; in spite of his table top rules and set up, lore wise the custodes would have had him the minute he set foot inside the imperial palace. And there aren't just a couple of the custodes either; there's thousands upon thousands of them.
Sorry but can you provided me the link with those lores cause I think thunder warriors are stronger than them,and sure the first custodes has the same power with orimarch but that’s the strongest individual,there is no confirmed feats for a few of them to tear abandon neither,or am I missing something?
@@NguyenQuang-tm3ou this is the battle mentioned in the lore; this was 4000 custodes plus other armies; but as mentioned the Khorne legion didn't even get inside the gates, which enraged Khorne so badly he killed his blood thirsters utterly.
This was the Custodes (note they called for aid from titan and it doesn't mention the Knights actually aided them) and a few other armies.
The chief reason I say the custodes could beat Abaddon comes from the fact Big A uses armies and armies of followers to do his dirty work; then he himself shows up to finish a weakened foe, if he showed up alone they would have him.

Never forget, A Custodes is the literal cream of the crop. They have the top of the line equipment and training and are among the greatest warriors in 40K.

A single Custodian is more powerful than most Astartes Armies, and I'm pretty sure that they have been compared to Primarchs at least once, which really says something.
A Named Custodes (named ones are more powerful than regular Custodes) didn't want to fight Asterion Moloch (Chapter Master of the Minotaurs) because the Custodes had doubts if he was even able to defeat Asterion.

After 50 waves. Each exponentially increasing in size, well past a million in the final wave. One lone Chaos Space Marine comes crawling out of the crater after the fight. His lower half is completely missing. His speed is slow, and clearly dying.
He crawls up to Abbadons legs, and with his dying breath states, "Sir, there was two Custodians, not one."

Being surrounded just means having to spend less time on target acquisition.
This is basically Meet the Sandvich, and the custodes is Heavy while everyone else is Soldier and Scout.
Considering the Emperor's massive army of Golden People killed 100,000,000 orks and lost only 3 of their own, this actually isn't all that big a stretch.

Normally when a custodes is assigned any task it is regarded as successful even before they are deployed onto the field.
Would´ve been a fair fight, if the custodes had no weapon, missing his legs and only having one arm, whilst sleepwalking
Accurate enough, custodes are the Emperor’s guard and they are known to be on par with some of the Primarchs.
The most insane thing is that canonically this is probably pretty close to an even right. Custodes are no joke.

Somehow I knew that Darth Vader quote was coming before I watched it
The Custodes are worth about 10-20 standart Space Marines, the Primarch is worth 100-300 Space Marines, and the Emperor is worth two-four Primarchs(Horus was buffed by 4 chaos gods).
The Space Marines that attacked Terra were newcomers who were made a few years before the Battle of Terra due to which they have no combat experience and their armor is solid slag "Мк.V Heresy". Which made 1 Custodes worth 100+ Traitor Space Marines in "MK.V".
meanwhile, on tabletop, gets hit with a lasgun shot, fails the invulnerable save and FNP, dies.
