We journey up the Cordillera Mountains in Ifugao Province to tour the world famous Banaue Rice Terraces. We will specifically tour the Batad cluster of the terraces which is a semi circular complex and village. The Igorot people have maintained these terraces for about 2000 years as a community with mastery in agricultural techniques such as water and land conservation, a unique pest control regime that has deemed the terraces free of GMO’s, along rich cultural and religious traditions that been virtually unchanged throughout the generations.
