I told you that you’d love it. Thanks for picking my suggestion. I’m right with you on Bluegrass changing my musical view. The beauty is that there’s no place to hide as musicians. It’s either great or it tanks and there’s no in-between. I’ve been honoured to see these guys with Union Station fronting Alison maybe six times and each gig has been an eargasm. She could sing the phone book and I’d buy a ticket! Cheers from this frostbitten Canadian 🇨🇦🎶❤️

I watched an interview with Dan about when he told his wife that he was gonna be doing a voice over in a movie with George Clooney in it. She asked what a voice over is and he told her “You’ll see George Clooney on the screen singing but it’ll be my voice.” And she replied with “Thats all Ive ever dreamed of.” Lmao, love OBWAT

LOVE the transatlantic sessions. Great video.
Also, loved what you said at the end. That's why Doc Watson is my favorite guitarist of all time. He wasn't flashy, but the man played music how it is supposed to be played.

I love this analysis of the song, spot on IMO. I grew up a few towns away from Dan Tyminski, I use to hang out in crown point NY. I use to see Dan at the gas station in the store that sort of thing, seemed like a nice guy, friendly.
Few people knew he was a pretty accomplished musician, and even fewer knew Dan was as talented as he is!!!
Most of those northern towns had a fife and drum corps, that's probably why he loves that jam!

Just wanted to say that I love your vids my friend. You are a real inspiration for your passion of music. I want to thank you for turning me to so many artists I never knew. I have lost interest in guitar a while ago because I got sick but every time I watch another one of your vids I seem to get a boost in confidence to give it another go. I know I'm not a paying member but I have a recommendation of a artist I never saw on this channel which is Joe Pass. One of my favorites is a performance of Ain't Misbehavin on the Oscar Peterson and Friends show from the BBC. You seem to me you have a lot on your plate but if you get a chance, I don't think you will be disappointed. Keep up the great job brother and keep that love going. Cheers ✌

It's a great song... love the vibe... but having lived in the upper midwest most of my life I can tell you that frost doesn't ruin the corn crop. In fact in Minnesota... many farmers wait until well into November to harvest, well after the first frost. Again... killer dobro.. love the song... but I always think about this when I hear it.
