Molly, I first heard Doc Watson back in 1972 and I had never heard anyone like him before especially his flat picking. My brother first told me about him while attending Appalachian State. I think Doc would be proud to know there is a young girl like you out there flat picking at your present level. I am recently enjoying your Crooked Tree hit and was happy you did so well at the IBMA Awards. Keep up the good work and song writing.
At last an ensemble that tailors their back up for the resonate sonorities of the soloist’s axe. Sublime. You gals can actually do anything; I had believed but had never seen…..
This performance set my little dusty room on fire. Wonderful artists. How I would have loved to have been at this and at many of Molly's concerts. Bluegrass, a fusion of Country and Folk, and a fusion of Folk and Blues are a joy to listen to.
My god, can it get any better then this. These are top self musicians. They play at such a high level. These fine people follow in the footsteps of the greats from the Carter family, Ernest Tubb, Merle Travis and through the legendary Roy Clark and Jerry Reed and flat pickers like Doc Watson and Tony Rice.

May good music never die! Just fun to watch. Thx for uploading!
They goooood
Unbelievable! Wow, just wow. Such a talented bunch. I love your spirit ... and your music is absolutely great!
Thanks for the wonderful music.
I can't take so many beautiful people seriously
Music is too damn good.
Five beautiful people making beauiful musik. Cant stop viewing this video. Thanks
A giant in the music world, Jerry Douglas is one class act. Met him briefly a couple times. If you ever get the opportunity, you'll agree.
The violinist, double bass and mandolin player and slide guitarist are excellent, thank for introducing them !
That's called a dobro player in Bluegrass.and that's called a fiddle.
The Dobro player is a living legend named Jerry Douglas, he's an added bonus not normally with the band
@@mbsnyderc thanks for the update!
Fiddle player is awesome. And loved the fiddler and mandolin together on the last song
You are totally right. Outstanding duet.
You left out Jazz and a few other genres. But you prolly ought to tend to that 🔥 first...
@@fretfix1 I shall tend. I shall tend. But, first, a fresh pot of coffee.
Haha! Best host comment ever.... every single one of those notes did sound great!
I love seeing Jerry throwing down with these youngins! Molly, you go girl!
What an amazing project this is. Sooo much big talent in that room together!
Brought tears to my eyes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My volume only goes to 100… still not enough!…Lmaooooo “Molly Hatchet “😂😂😂
What great individual talents everyone of you, and what a great band you make. Love how you play Bluegrass but are absolute head-banging Rockers! Beautiful sound.
The gal playin fiddle is just awesome!
Yes, it's really beautiful playing. 12:05 it sounds like her name is Ron Winkiepines (?) Couldn't find any other music by her on yt.
@@sdrtcacgnrjrc Her name is Bronwyn Keith-Hynes.You could find an album by Mile Twelve.
@@grassmatinee now I hear it, Bronwyn Keith-Hynes ... will check that album out, thanks a lot!
She also has a killer solo album, too, called "Fiddlers Pastime."
I have to totally agree with you.
These folks make me glad my ears still work !❤️
The violinist and steel guitar sounds awesome.
That would be a fiddle & resophonic guitar .... but YES, totally agree.
Molly has such beautiful musical taste. The songs she writes and the songs of others she covers always come from her heart. The sounds she and those with whom she surrounds herself make are a blessing. and embellishment to the Universe.
Brilliant performance from an absolute knockout album. I can hardly wait to see you guys live at the Blue Ridge Music Center later this summer. Molly, you're just my absolute favorite guitarist. And Bronwyn, beautiful work -- Scott and Shay from Mountain View send their best. Great job, all!
that’s some serious stringing
