- After building both of these cars at the last minute and winning back to back burnout competitions we now want to see how they would do against each other in a drag race. We are going to give them both upgrades to improve their traction and braking including racing slicks, a Baer rear disc brake kit, and traction bars! And believe it or not Squeeze even decides to drive!

I love that squeezie is an artist. I'm so surprised that she wanted to drive. She did a great job. Watching your faces was priceless. During this video I was, once again, impressed with the way you treat your children. You have great understanding when they mess up and teach them well. You don't force them. Glad you are starting to see what I grew up with here in Detroit in the 70's and 80's. Carbs and distributors on Ford, GM and Chrysler V8s. None of the computer controlled crap. The junkyards were still full of good used cheap OEM parts back then. Cruising/racing on Friday and Saturday nights. Good times.

Looked at some of the old videos and can't believe how fast these kids are growing up. So proud of them taking so much interest and all they've learned.

Great improvements! That Gremlin is a beast. 2 things I would do is first make sure front sway bars are disconnected and those headlight areas on Gremlin nulled filled to reduce even the smallest drag. That's just me too

I like the Dollar General car, infact I used to want to build a drag pinto but I'll be glad to see the day when you set the engine back and mount the radiator where you can run a grill maybe bumper on the front. I've said it before and I'll say it again I'm really proud of y'all and glad you're doing well.

I saw something cool on the Questionable garage channel a couple weeks ago. He's building a burnout car, and he made some cashing cutters for the bottom of the rear fenders to cut off pieces of tire when they start to come apart so they don't destroy the fender. Something you may want to consider when you change them back to burnout cars. Love your videos, keep them coming!

@@anthonymessina2834 Absolutely! I’m trying to remember similar cars from back in the day. Monzas we’re a cool one to hot rod. I had a 77 Pontiac Astre that i shoehorned a Pontiac 455 in. Couldn’t ever get the car to hook, and braking was not one it’s strong points! Could break the tires loose at 80 mph no problem! LOL 😂
I like the idea of a turbo pinto motor in the Pinto, that is a formula for success! Go racing on the 302 but watch it shine with a rowdy turbo 4-cyl later. The Gremlin will be a star performer when you get the tune sorted out--you can't be boggy on race day but that alcohol motor will get it on at the track. It will be interesting to dial in the tune--its a learning process. Good video!!
I found so great that it seems one of the most powerful cars that you have and that Squeezy wanted to drive it because usually she doesn't give them too much interest and also taking in fact it was right after it scared her a little

Love the videos. Awesome family! One of the few 'car' shows I can get my little girl to sit still and watch with me. She loves your kids and the animals.
Josh those slapper bars typically have an adjustable snubber with 2 nuts. One nut can go above the slapper bar between it and the snubber and another below to clamp it. That will get you closer to the spring eye without spacers.
Methanol cars take a good bit to warm up before they'll run smooth. Take it for a couple laps around the yard then try launching it. It should act better.
For the Pinto, Frieberger says to put a larger squirter on the primary to help the bog. But I've always had good luck switching to a pink squirter cam in the #2 hole. Just make sure to adjust it afterwards.

Parents of the century here. Wow. I mean.. they're into fixing cars. Very respectful.. no cell phone stuck in their faces. You can literally see them hang on papas every word. They love you guys too. And I bet they're the most popular kids in school.

High points for me. Marge helping Ralphie with the ladder bars and his comment to her "The strongest grip I've ever seen". Squeeze: across multiple videos-when Josh is getting on it really hard, her face remains implacable (unshakeable,unswerving, unwavering, unflinching). When driving, her face was either concentrating or smiling. She was also the 1st to speak up when Josh asked who wanted to drive. Josh you were really supportive and encouraging. I don't know that Shirley Muldowney necessarily turned a lot of wrenches.

FYI. After cutting the top off, cut the paper flutes free and clean them with brake clean on to a white towel. Gives you a good idea what is magnetic or not. Love y’all!!!!

wow what a pro! at 11:07 WaWa holding the oil bottle “upside down“ so the air flows through the handle, so the oil flows smoothly and doesn’t go glug glug glug! Most people don’t know that little trick, pour oil holding the handle, and then end up spilling oil all over the place. Way to go, WaWa pro!

One things to note on the 727 is you may want to be careful doing burnouts in first gear, or letting the car catch traction while doing a burnout in first gear. While the 727 is a super tough transmission, sometimes they can “roll” the one way sprag, in particularly when doing the things noted above. If the sprag fails it can lead to the front drum spinning 2-3 times the engine RPM next time you launch it, in which it can blow apart and cause some crazy damage. Things can be done to help prevent this, but it is definitely something I would keep in mind. Burnouts in first gear with a stock 727 and bigger horsepower is something to be careful about! Would hate to see anyone get hurt, just trying to help spread the awareness! Great video!!
