You play so well Martin. One good demo can sell a product on that basis alone. Who doesn’t want a Zarenbourg for their birthday .......it’s a lovely instrument.
I miss my Zarenbourg. I miss the sounds. I miss feel of it. I don’t miss the schleppIng into pubs and clubs, especially ones with stairs. I don’t know why Waldorf have discontinued it. Nice playing btw
Thank you Dave. Glad you’re like it. I also love the Zarenbourg. But I don’t think they have discontinued it yet. In Germany you can still order it. :)
Hi Francesco. Unfortunately they have stopped the production of the Zarenbourg. I don’t know when and if they will produce any products like this. We will see. Much love to Italy and all the best in these times.
Sorry, but all the other popular stage pianos - yes, even the red ones - can just pack their shizz and go. This is absolutely amazing. I can't believe how realistically percussive all of these sounds are, yet so subtle that it doesn't sound overbearing. The EPs sounded (as well as one can ascertain on youtube) like the EPs I know from my youth - like when my father brought home a used Wurlitzer for me although I wanted something like a DX7 :-) I have always thought the red stage pianos did EPs well, but this is another dimension. Stunning.
yes, it's stunning. stunningly expensive and stunningly heavy. the red stage piano costs have the price, weighs a quarter as much, also does tonewheel organ, a multitude of sampled sounds and can load new samples.
I wonder if the classic piano is also modelled , I gues it's the only one that"s sample based no ? As far as I know , only the roland vpiano is the only hardware physcial modelled piano , and pianoteq ...but that's software
Great demo and wonderful sounding unit! Did they ever even sell this unit in the US? One time years ago I looked into it and it seemed like your had to order it from overseas and I was concerened if it supported US voltages and wall sockets. I wonder why it never seemed to really take off? Maybe they couldn't produce it in volume?
It came out around the same time as Korg SV-1 and other vintage inspired stage pianos. There were higher costs due to the large size and weight which drove the price up.
I think it’s that big because there is another speaker / a little woofer for the deeper frequencies at the bottom. It’s like a 2.1 sound system. :) sounds nice.
Sounds amazing for the instrument from 2004! Great musician and playing! Wonderful - Waldorful ))))
Das bisher einzige Video, das wirklich ein Gefühl vermittelt was das Instrument kann...super gemacht!
Very beautiful music!
So nice and relaxing.
Thanks for posting.
I think I’m most impressed with the Piano sample on this. Rhodes and wurly are great too but I was not expecting it to have such a rich acoustic sound
That’s cool nice playing, I think the new SV-2 compares well and believe it or not , the Yamaha reface sounds amazing.
Thanks for the comment. And yes I totally agree, the Yamaha Reface sounds really great. I got myself a CS which is also more than a decent synth :)
Wonderful sound ! You play also like à charm ! Bravo
Great Playing!

axs203 thank you so much. That’s nice to hear. Yes I do love the Zarenbourg.
wow, nice sounding and fab looking.. I am sure since its discontinued it might have inflated resale prices
One of the best wurly samples I’ve heard out there
That's what I wanted to hear.

@@meiXmusicpro from where can you order it? Any particular store? I am in Italy so maybe they can ship it..

Sound 5 and 7 I find especially amazing
Lovely.
Wonderful sounds!
whats the song from 0:17 - 1:29 ? its a great song and great playing
also interested!
Rhodes Mark 1
whats the name of the original title at minute 4:00
Hi Benjamin. I was just jamming around with the Waldorf. At 4:40 it sounds a bit like the song "Black Bird". But that was a coincidence.
@@meiXmusicpro i was thinking about the part at 4:00. it sounds a little bit like one song from elton john.:) it sounds amazing btw.
Nice variation of blackbird
Nice!
whats the title of the song when you played the grand preset? its beautiful.

Check CRUMAR seven:-).

Ward de jager Yamaha's CP1/5/50 hardware series was also modeled. Not sure about this one, but it sounds really good!!
Check out the new Crumar Seven. Everything is physically modeled in the Seven.
sample based

Would love to get my hands on a Zarenbourg. Such a shame they discontinued it, sounds like it would have been a good rival to the Crumar Seven.
Is that a Wurlitzer in the background?
Yea 200a
Outstanding presentation! Do you know offhand whether or not anything build into this piano is based on mechanical parts, or is it entirely modeled?
Thank you so much. All I know the keys are a Fatar TP40M and the sound is modeled. I like it. :)
holy shit ur talented dude!
vincent jarlsson oh thank you so much. Glad you like it ;)
Sounds almost like a Wurlitzer
Thank you Martin, great demo. Some they the acoustic pianos are not so good, what you think?
A grand is in there? So it is all just digital magic? Why is it so big then?

And yes... digital magic ;)
👍🏼
Wonderful sounds!
