Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Room Tour (& getting locked out!)

- A walk around the Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites. I start by walking to the hotel from a nearby bus stop and then explore the lobby, fitness and and pool areas as well as a room. I end up having to walk around the hotel at some point because I went out a door that locked me out (lol).
This is not a review but merely a tour of the property and some initial impressions of the room.

Ahh, the good ole Airport Road. I worked in that area back in 2019 and always left work to eat lunch on my hour break. There were surprisingly not many options for a quick lunch on that road. The airport grille (gone), Boston Pizza, Crown Plaza hotel (empty and quiet but limited menu) and a couple other places that were always too busy and too noisy. I've also stayed at that Hilton and also had a job interview there years ago w/ a US company.
Instead of dust test, I'd like to see you bring a UV light to see how clean the beds are, especially high end luxury hotels in downtown. Whenever I stay at home, I actually bring my own sheet and a thin blanket to put on top of theirs.
I actually like watching the hotel reviews I never thought I would until I started watching you do it!
To get to terminal 1 from Jetliner, you had to walk down the sidewalk to the next set of lights at 0:35, once at that intersection look right you see to roads that joined to meet the intersection the higher road is from T1 Arrivals and the lower road going under the airport somewhat is from T1 Ground Level, its recommended you hug the right hand side thats close to the terminal to avoid traffic. If you wanted to walk in walk to ground level employees go there all the time. From where you were at the 900 bus stop its 5 mins to get the T1, you could also walk to T3 from here, just walk to the end of ground level while hugging the terminal, near the end youll see the air field to the right hug that to the side of the airfield and walk up the access road its a small hill but once at the top you just follow the road down to T3 arrivals which should be in plain view! Hope this helps!
It’s even more pedestrian unfriendly in the winter with icy sidewalks and howling winds. I used to work there in the 90s , the stories I could tell you about that place …..this was when some rooms still had original early 70s decor 😂 dust would have been the least of your worries. you could park there for free though for your whole vacation even though you only stayed one night with a free airport shuttle ( sometimes your car would be stolen though)

Its just an old 70's hotel that Hilton bought and put a shiny wrapper on. Ive stayed there once but never again, way better options in the airport area.
