I stayed a a TRU in Boston for the first time. The room was spotless and basic. BUT....there was something very FUN about this brand for some reason. It's not boring and the convenience feel is very refreshing!
Glad I found this review of Tru Hilton. I’ve been researching hotels to book for my upcoming 2 day birthday trip to Longview Texas and came across Tru. Will definitely book. I’m sure it’ll be a fun experience. Will document my experience as well. 😊
Me and a friend stayed at the Tru by Hilton in Traverse City, Michigan and I was surprised by how nice the room was. Plus we had a smart TV with TH-cam and Netflix built into it so we didn't have to bring a streaming player to watch Netflix. We didn't check out the breakfast cuz we were only there for one night but it was very cool
I just booked a king room for mid summer at the Chesapeake, VA location. Super excited but also bummed at the possibilty of not having a microwave in the room. Hopefully there's one on the first floor. I also hope there's a indoor pool even though it wasn't mentioned in the amenities.
From my understand they are all the same except the pools. Some have outdoor pools and some have indoor pools. I think the Pool Tables, Breakfast, Games and rooms are all the same.

I am so glad you showed that 2nd window shade because I was concerned that people can see through. I can't wait to try Tru.
Tru is really our favorite.
They are definitely clean which works for me. But, that is about it.
