The Sapphire Reserve just got a huge benefit from that plaza premium changed. The Venture X used to have more lounge access, but now they have roughly the same AND the CSR has some non-lounge access like restaurants and spas. Big win for the Reserve!
I'm always a fan of more redemption options, so seeing the Chase PYB feature stick around is great in my opinion. While it isn't the highest CPP redemption out there, it can be utilized in a lot of good ways depending on what your current goals are with your points. Thanks for the updates Ben!
Great news about Plaza Premium! As someone who currently only has Priority Pass through the CSR for lounges, I feel like my last few domestic trips have had either no lounge options or the only option being something like Minute Suites or maybe the spa. I'm sure those are fine for the right use case but when I fly nonstop like I have recently, I don't want to sit in a Minute Suite with no food for an hour when I'm at my destination. I'd rather just go check into the hotel and start exploring. If there was a lounge there though, I'd probably go in to get a free meal or at least snack or coffee out of it.

When it comes to Amex Centurion lounges, you’ll always pay something out of pocket to have a guest. Whether you spend $75k on the card, pay $175 for 1-3 AUs (or $300 for 1 Biz Plat employee card), or pay $50 per guest. No getting around it.
This is interesting. I guess Collins wants this revenue stream back. Not that it's relevant to me at least now - me and my family have C1 Venture X and are able to go there. There was only me and one other person there, so if you really like privacy and have Amex Platinum or C1 VX - this is not so welcome news. 😂

Right, at T5 they removed Plaza Premium and it left just the Aspire lounge which gets quite busy
Plaza Premium returning to Priority Pass is huge for YYZ Toronto Pearson which has, I believe, 6 Plaza Premium lounges.
