For your information Doug, the hole in the rear doors’ storage area next to the remote holder aren’t cup holders but ashtray holders. Sadly they aren’t integrated into the doors as they always used to be from the beginning of the S-Class’s history up to the generation before this one.

But thouse wheels... Mercedes used the same design decade ago as an entry level wheel design to look like steel wheel, so people will pay more for AMG wheels, so mainly taxicabs had them. And now, they are on Maybach. Rolls&Royce uses better, that is certain.
Plus, I don't think the same people are buyers of Maybach and Rolls. In Eastern and Cental Europe, Maybach was and is popular with Russian mafia, so nobody sane would buy it. Rolls and Bentley lacks that negative image.

Random point a few years later, my 2006 BMW E90 330D actually does have the Dynamic route built into it's ancient I-Drive, and it does indeed work. Takes you a more twisty route!
Probably the sexiest wheels ever put on a production vehicle. Loved them, and I've loved the earlier S600/CL600 wheels that looked almost identical, which I'm pretty sure they aren't.

I think you're overestimating the production value Doug wants to put into his videos haha. It's more about the information and quirks then the swooping driving shots and exhaust notes

There are a ton of other review channels that focus on track times and performance that use cranes and helicopters for their shots, but that’s not what Doug does.

Dynamic route means, that the navigation system avoids that you get stuck in traffic and tries to find free routes to your destination. That's a normal setting in European navigation systems. I also have this in my 2016 Golf R. ;)

The number next to the satellite might refer to the number of satellites used to determine the location, to indicate when the location can not determined accurately, e.g. if there are only 2 satellites.
