@@KurisuFenrisWolfI don’t think white dwarf really has anything to do with codex releases, like how imperial agents got a random combat patrol put in one 3-4 months ago
Russ doesn’t need to come back… they need to give Lion and Guilman time to meet and deal with each other. I haven’t seen any new lore of them even hinting at a meet up. It should be an epic and emotional pay off from two very different and changed men. Guilman is an exhausted and getting frankly nihilistic man; becoming more of a realist like his “big brother.” While the Lion has had some very hard lessons on his past failures and has taken steps to even out his blunt and focused personality with compassion. Bringing Russ in too soon would feel like The Lion and Guilman wouldn’t have time to really flesh out their new relationship.
By that same logic if it’s taken this long for them to get together couldn’t that alls till happen while Russ goes back to his Chapter? The Lion and Russ are similar I believe that their first instinct isn’t to go speak with family, but get into the fight to gain control. As a Space Wolves player I don’t want a shoehorned Primarch in the setting I think the way The Lion was handled should at least be the baseline for what it should be like. I can see the logic people have for God legions and their associated demons getting wrapped into one codex. With that being said, I don't think it's happening this edition. My main reason for thinking this is the fact that CSM is already out and The dark Master isn't in it (I use speech to text and it will not spell his name correctly) I feel like if they wanted to split up demons's edition they would have put him in CSM because he's kind of an iconic demon especially since he's arguably one of the only two actually undivided characters in the game.
