By the way, I am taking the LAE exam on February so coming across your content was just so timely. Thank you very much again!

Thank you very much! My family and friends always encourage me like I should take UPLAE, even my UP Friends told me to try. They actually hope that I pass the LAE, that makes me more nervous. Pressure made me overthink. As in Overthink kaso sobrng pressured na ako. Like always sila ng aask. Huhuhuhuhu. Naiiyak na nga ako e. Onting onti nalang babagsak na ako. Kasi parang nilalamon na ako. I usually bounce back again everytime I encounter defeat, but UP lae interview is just by far, the scariest panel interview I had in life🤣🤣The waiting for the final result is just killing me, praying to the universe I passed it🙏🙏😶
Hi Atty. Ty for making this video. Likewise I would be taking the uplae in 2020. My only question: is it already a lost cause if you have a near lowest(if not lowest) GWA upon taking the exam?
just a youtuber Hello! :) It's not a lost cause, because while they do consider undergrad grades in the UP Law admissions process, you can still redeem yourself in the LAE. Don't underestimate how well you can do, my undergrad was Fine Arts but I placed 31st out of 5000+ LAE examinees- the point is, if I can, you sure can, too! Just prepare extra hard for the LAE because that's what's within your control pa to raise :)
Hello ma’am, I believe you miscounted on your recap. Anyways, this video is definitely helpful. I’m now a fan! Hoping to see videos about the lessons you’ve learned in actual law practice and how UP equipped you to become the lawyer this country needs. God bless!
Hi! The recap is about the most important points, deliberately not intended to match the numbering of the video as chronologically narrated. They're the main things you should remember if you didn't watch the long part of the video, so they're my most important top-of-the-mind tips. Thanks, I appreciate your support!
I failed my Philsat exam last year, then LEB sent the result of the exam thru email. I checked the result and with no surprise, it showed that my lowest test result was Math. 😂😂😂
Hello Atty. What’s the exact duration of every section of UP LAE? Do you think allotting 2 minutes in every question enough to answer all items completely?
Me being a PolSci Graduate and having 7 Law Subjects during my undergrad: Kinakabahan ako. Wala talaga akong confidence sa sarili ko. Huhuhuhuhu. Overthinker talaga akooooooo.
Only too happy to answer your question!! :)) 1. Human Nature Tinted Lip Balm in "Rosewood" (shopee.ph/product/33677428/501587313?smtt=0.0.9) 2. Hi, I hope you see this huhu We actually have the same school and undergrad, I am a third year from UST Advertising Arts. I was just wondering if papano po mattake ung mga units na wala ka sa undergrad? When I checked kase ung website ng UP Law may mga required number of units before you can take the exam? And another thing, since thesis period is 4th year sa UST how did you even managed to review for LAE? Thank youu!!

Pero i’m thinking to take UP Lae too, mejo malaki kasi ang tuition sa Ateneo pero dream ko din maging atty. Basta bahala na si Lord kung san man ako.
Hi! :) UP Law is actually perfect for you because they have an evening program. For regular (non-working) students, classes are mostly held during the daytime, and the program is for 4 years. But for working students, classes are held during nighttime (after work hours), and the program is for 5 years. There is really a separate section for working students. Go for it!! :)
Hi Atty., new subscriber here!!! Were you a full time student when u studied law in UP? Asking because I'm currently working in an accounting firm and days get super busy around February to March (Tax filing season) so I'm not sure if studying law in addition to having a full time job is sustainable. =(
Super timely! I'll be taking the LAE this Feb. But I wanted ask if you have any tips regarding answering the registration questions. Should they be brief and straight to the point or in essay form?

If there are no instructions explicitly setting a limit on the number of sentences, I'd keep my answers between 3-5 sentences long, taking care to avoid long-winded, verbose, and excessively lofty (pang Miss Universe) answers. :) Be candid and interesting, and focus on flawless grammar and sentence construction, as well as good logical flow of your answers. Needless to say, your answers will not have any significant bearing on your application. These are subjective questions allowing the prospective student a bit of leeway to show his or her personality, so I'd take the opportunity to be creative and engaging with my answers, keeping in mind that my grammar, sentence construction, and logical flow would have to be impeccable. :)

It could be that your requirements are incomplete, or it could be that UP Law is just delayed in disseminating relevant info (due to the holiday season, plus the fact that midterms season is in December). I strongly suggest that you follow up with UP Law (02 89205514) to inquire regarding the status of your application. I suggest you do it first thing next year. Better safe than sorry! Good luck!! :)

Hi Atty.! I learned that admission to UP Law School is based on merit. Is there a minimum GWA to get admitted to UP Law School? Would there be a chance of getting admitted even if one’s GWA is just mediocre or below average?
Hi Hansy! No, there's no minimum GWA to get into UP Law. They average your GWA and your LAE score when they decide on admissions. Yes, there's definitely a chance of getting admitted even with a below average GWA, because you never know how well you can do in the LAE :)
