I have a P0341 code on my 2011 Navara. I guess I could swap out the crank sensor to see if its the sensor or the chain. In your experience is there an issue with the 2011 timing chain on the Navara? Thanks, Daniel.

Nissan X-Trail t31 with the voltage centre that I cannot get out at back of the engine don't seem to be any videos on Google the piece itself is completely collapsed so there's not much to grab cannot seem to get it from underneath or above any suggestions giving you are the experts and there is no doubt about that one

Bessma Belhadj This happened to mine. It was the NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH, which was located underneath the car. It’s basically just an electrical connection that you can disconnect by hand. No special tools required. There were 2 connections underneath my car. Just disconnect one and take it for a drive and see if the problem is still there. If it is just reconnect it and disconnect the other one and it should fix the problem. It worked for me. Mine started off with lack of speed in gears 2, 3 and 4 and developed sudden jerking the more I drove it. But once i disconnected the NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH it was completely gone. Car had its speed back.
Hi from melbourne australia luv your vids i have a d22 2008 2.5l turbo diesel 4x4 nissan navara ute it cuts out when i stop at lights or slow down i have to rev it when stand still or else just cuts out pulled out the crank angle sensor wire behind cylinder head and it ran better no cutting out at all does this confirm that the timing chain is on its way out and needs replacing ? or could it be a faulty sensor car has done 294000 kms its going to cost me $3000 for upgraded kit dual timing chain and fitted your advice would be much appreciated thanks
Hi my navara v6 petrol has gone into limp mode and I'm getting 2 fsult codes when I manually check 1564 and 0335. I thought the 0335 was a crankshaft position sensor fault when searching it ?? There is no check engine light on 😔 Or is it something else ? Thanks
My nissan navara 2008 keeps cutting out when driving. I restart it and it goes for a bit then it will cut out again. And so on so on. Nobody can find the fault. Could it be any of the crankshaft sensors. Could do with a expert advice on this . Many thanks... 👍
Hi buddy it’s your suction control valve located on your fuel pump you will have to do the fuel pump reset and also change the fuel filter at the same time We did a video called How to do a fuel pump reset it shows you how to do the full job All the very best Des

Robbie James Also you need to find out who the suppler was eBay are rubbish to get the right scv it needs to be Nissan or a denso agent they are around £100 +vat
Robbie James ebay are selling them for around £60 they say denso but they are fake you need the pump number on your fuel pump to get the correct one they are around 3 different scv and the spay pattern is different

Hey mate I've changed out both crank and cam sensors and still throwing both 35 and 36 code 08STX, has had a new motor put in by previous owner. Any ideas??
Try the wiring harness for the sensors, particularly the crank sensor, they are prone to wear, otherwise it might be either the timing chain on its way out, or the turbo. Good news bad new, timing chain kit will only cost you around $350 and will take you between 2-7days to replace(depending on your skill level) New turbo will cost around $950, but you can do it in a couple of hours. Best of luck with it. If you need any more tips feel free to hit me up. Although I’m hoping for your sake that by this time my reply is a mute point.
hi can you give me some info please if u can .i have a po340 cmp sensor circuit fault code on my 2.2 dci 2006 almera 112bhp...now before changing to a new sensor i rigged up the multi meter to the red and white wire .its a 3 wire plug..red black and green. but anyway getting back to the multi meter i rigged it up i had a reading of 5 volts and i swiped a spanner across the tip but voltage did not drop. so i got a new sensor and done the same test and voltage still wont drop so .i tested the crank sensor just to see and the voltage drops so i dont think its the crank or cam sensor . now i have 5 volts readings on bothe the black and red wire ..that is with the igition on and also with the engine runnning..also its a long crank then starts fine and runs smooth at idle .but no power wat so ever when on the road think its in limp mode. now ive checked the timing etc all is good .any help would be great from a lad who knows what his talking about.thanks .john

@@westyorkshireengineservice9160 Mechanic remove the crankshaft sensor that was broken , I reckon rest of the sensor peace drop in side the flywheel area might be that broken peace can damage new sensor when start engine. I recommend to remove the gear box and rid off broken sensor.

I have the same problem with a 2015 Nissan Navara D40 144hp. If I Take out the camshaft sensor, the car starts normally, IF I plug in this sensor, the car stops immeditately.
Hi I've got a 2005 Outlaw that drives well until it shudders,orange light on dash then limp mode . Max revs 2200 lacks power. But if I stop and engine off ,when I re turn key light goes out and drives well again. Any ideas . Crank and turbo sensor already changed. Cheers Trev

I changed the camshaft sensor (the one at the top and back of the engine) and I think the two sensors look identical. How can I distinguise the two and what hapens if I put the one in the place of the other?

Let me know if the crankshaft faulty then it can couse engine not to start.

@@westyorkshireengineservice9160 a garage done it for me and charged me £140 for the part. It wasn't from ebay I'm sure .. but they didn't reset it. .

Shabi Bajwa when you say replaced the engine I gather that was fuel pump too if that’s the case he will have had to do a fuel pump reset
