Regular Yardwork + Bonus Tall-Weed Weedwacking - Early July

Its a nice warm summer day just before the 4th of July. Today I'm going to do my normal weed wacking and then lawn mowing. Just like the last few weeks, we haven't been getting as much rain as we were in the spring so the lawn is starting to dry out and not grow as fast. The exception is around the perimeter where it gets some shade, its growing a lot better there.
It has come to my attention that my lawn might need a fertilizer application a little sooner than I normally apply it. So I might put some down next week.
Also once I'm done with the regular yardwork, I head down to the stream to do a little bonus weed wacking. The weeds around the stream have shot up really tall over the last few weeks. So I go down there and weedwack them down. I haven't planted any grass seed down there yet but I probably will this fall.
