I think if someone was kind enough to do my yard, I would at least bring out drinks, feed them, anything. Nice of the neighbor to think of you. I'm sure they really appreciate you cleaning up this eyesore.
We used to think that about my grandparents' neighbor. We found out sometime later that the man had a fatal heart condition, which he later died from. We just don't know what's going on in peoples lives, do we...🤷
God bless you! It is great what you do. I’m 76 years old with bad knees, my husband is a Vietnam Veteran, he is 100% combat disabled. And now has colon cancer. He still cuts our grass. I hope these people know how wonderful it is to have someone like you.

The yard looks fantastic and what a wonderful thing that the neighbor brought you all something to drink and yet the lazy boy on the porch did not provide something cold to drink. He also not clean the porch and he should have instead of watching you all work. I would hate to see the inside of that house. The state of their yard shows that for whatever reason, they needed some support to get on top of it again. Lets face it though, if it wasn't for people whose yards are messy, then we wouldn't get to watch these transformations. So its a win win for us all. I personally have hope for this family. The son looked so happy. Now he can see what is possible and its much more manageable for them. I hope he enjoys his barbecue.

Some people do need a kick in the pants. If the guy has time to sit their and drink beers, he has the time to mow his grass at least once a month.
I know you never know a person's situation, but the young man looked healthy enough to at least pick up all the trash. Also, to offer bottled water. I hope the folks living there were very very appreciative of your hard work on their yards.

I don't wish to be negative, however the young man on the porch could take 5 or 10 minutes and pick up trash on front porch and have a trash can there instead of throwing on the ground 😞🤨

It's grass. Sure a lawn of native plants would be wonderful, but grass can also hide unwanted vermin and lower property values when a neighbor is attempting to sell.

Your heart needs to be in it because people like that will make you angry and resentful. You must be a cheerful giver. That type of labor really needs to be pressing on you to give like that. Most people would have been fussing about him sitting there and not, at best, cleaning his own trash. My thoughts exactly!!! It’s crazy that a neighbor brought them drinks and the actual people that lived there didn’t offer them anything! Man, I’d feel so bad having those guys do all that work in the heat. I’d be giving them drinks & food and trying to help where I could. Amazing work you do. I live in CT and maintain my yard - but it is two acres. Gave up on mowing and hired someone to do it now, but the bushes I take care of cutting them back, mulching, and weeding. Doing that takes all day twice a spring/fall. I do the leaf blowing with a Stihl top of the line backpack model and that takes me as long as three hours when I do it. In the winter I have a Toro unit on a driveway that is 2/10 of a mile long which can take me between 1 to 2 hours to snowblow. It takes a lot of effort to maintain where I live so I respect you doing this massive job for free as I know how tired I am after taking care of those bushes!

Green & Clean! Wow! What a yard! Great job! I’m 67, retired widow living on Social Security and military death benefits. I bought a trailer last year so my yard is now significantly smaller and easier for me to maintain. I still take care of my 94 Year old ex mother in laws yard which is about 4 times the size of mine. Fortunately we don’t have any trees.
Make 4 foot tied bundles for the trash collector and they will love you. Don’t the branches have to be by the trash cans by the driveway or is that ok. ✅
Oops cardboard and who didn’t walky. If this way outside god knows what inside. Depression is hard to kick. Never taken care of in this kind of detail. One thing to mow then there is total yard maintenance like this.

I couldnt just not at least offer you something to drink because before my nana passed away i was the one who maintained the yard by myself with a little push mower when she passed i stopped because i was doing it for her. 9:30 "Green & Clean" When you're mowing near your partner or near obstacles, like the vehicle in the driveway, there is a flip gate made by Ballard you might want to check into that goes on the mower deck discharge. It might save you some headaches from shrapnel, especially when cutting properties that you can't always see what is hidden from view. It also might help save you some time once you've done your first or second cut to mulch up the cuttings.
Man you have some skills with that weed eater! The fact you can make a precise line with a weed eater as if it's an edger is amazing. Keep up the good work!

Great Job I am retired /disabled but i still cut grass for lake cottages next to my home not only that but i am keeping a eye on them in the off season most of them go south for winter I don't charge them to do that as most of them are in there 80's and don't have much money .Keep it green & clean .great video .

It's grass. Sure a lawn of native plants would be wonderful, but grass can also hide unwanted vermin and lower property values when a neighbor is attempting to sell.

Amazing work you do. I live in CT and maintain my yard - but it is two acres. Gave up on mowing and hired someone to do it now, but the bushes I take care of cutting them back, mulching, and weeding. Doing that takes all day twice a spring/fall. I do the leaf blowing with a Stihl top of the line backpack model and that takes me as long as three hours when I do it. In the winter I have a Toro unit on a driveway that is 2/10 of a mile long which can take me between 1 to 2 hours to snowblow. It takes a lot of effort to maintain where I live so I respect you doing this massive job for free as I know how tired I am after taking care of those bushes!

Green & Clean! Wow! What a yard! Great job! I’m 67, retired widow living on Social Security and military death benefits. I bought a trailer last year so my yard is now significantly smaller and easier for me to maintain. I still take care of my 94 Year old ex mother in laws yard which is about 4 times the size of mine. Fortunately we don’t have any trees.
