Thank you I needed this :)
Hi 😊, I am glad it helped 😊
Excellent demonstration! The sharpies blended much better than I would have expected. I've never tried tip to tip; that really results in a smooth transition 😊
Wow cool also You should do "how to draw highlights and shadows"
Thank u creator-san
thank you for watching 😊
THANKYOU! I spent so much time figuring out blending that I began to wonder if I even knew the results I was meant to look for (look at the softness of the edges between the colour changes). I've also began using Mingyun brand of alcohol markers and a few times began wondering if it's them, but I had to remind myself that I got the exact same results with copies, so I knownit was my skill, most of the time. This tutorial has just reassured me that it's 100% my skill and my investment for a cheaper pack of markers is worth it and I do know what to look for in blending.
Also I love how for the Overlay part, you demonstrated how to make the blend look less splotchy and more like a two very far off shade of the same colour look more airbrushed at the edges, which is one of my issues with blending.
Personally i wouldn't do the tip to tip because it might ruin the tip of the lighter marker, but the rest are really good and helpful!!💖
Oh my gosh thank you so much. I needed this
awww I am glad to hear it helped 😊
Thanks for the great tutorial. I have the Ohuhu chisel tip and love them. I really like the tip to tip blend :)

Why haven’t I been feathering hair in my drawings! All this time! 🤯🤯🤯 Being a Kinesthetic learner is so hard without anyone around into the same things to learn from! Thank you so much for this! 💓💓💓
No problem, super happy to be able to help 😁
Thanks so much! I really needed this! I bought ohuho markers and knew NOTHING
Happy to help! I hope you enjoy your markers! Thank you for watching! 😊
thank u for this :)
I'm still just getting used to coloring and with alcohol markers. Best of luck to me😅 And thanks for this demonstration, highly informative
thank you! 🥰
Could you do a tutorial series where you explain the anatomy off different body parts? (Eg: Explaining the anatomy of the human arm! Ect..) Can you also make a video where you explain how to blend colours in different colour families easily, because I find that hard. Thank You! 🥰
If you want to do a good transition with a chisel nib you can also use the other side
thanks for boosting up my belief! Could u show how to blend touch qiuei markers?
I didn't know that you could blend sharpies-
Thank you for this video 👍🏻 I love how you explain it ❤
What do you think about the Touch New markers? I just bought the 60 pieces kit (it comes with 3 gel pens and a couple of fine liners) and I feel like the alcohol content is really high. But I don’t really have any other brand to compare it to bc this is the first time I use this kind of markers.
Tysm for this tutorial!
Would you recommend kinds of paper? If you could because I need paper that will work with the markers
The marker paper I use the most is the X-Press It Blending Card Paper. You can find it on Amazon. I've heard cardstock paper is a good cheaper alternative, but I haven't tested any cardstock paper with alcohol markers just yet. Aside from that, the Ohuhu Sketchbook is pretty good too.
Woooo....I am 72nd in number!! Love your art Lela😍😍
awww thank you 😊
@@HowtoDrawwithLela I followed your tutorial and it helped me improve sooooo much!! Thank you sooo much😁🥰🥰🥰😍😍🤩🤩🤩
You are the best! Was this premiered? If it was, I’m mad at YT for not telling me about Lela-Chan’s live!
I have a different brand of markers and the instructions told me to use the blender marker included, any idea on how to make my blends like that with Shuttle Art brand markers?
My grandma was walking about the house & stopped to watch the whole video! She said it was very interesting I played some 'hang drum' music in the background while watching which made it even more enjoyable. The playlist's called 'Hang Drum Chill' on Spotify & that particular drum's 1 of my fav instruments
Can you do how to draw realism ? Even though this is an illustration channel , can you?
So how to determine if the paper works well for markers? Also why did the caliart & copics get white dots?
for the copic marker nib, is it possible to fix the nib after blending it with another colour? cuz the nib is half light blue and the tip of the nib is dark blue now 🥲 if possible, could you tell me? 🙏🙏 thanks!
Does this works with all different types alcohol markers?
Thank you so much i struggled with this and now im gettin it down! take ya time an its all good!
👍👍👍👍
Could you do one with bullet nibs

How I just wanna know how you know what I need to know
Hi
Hi 😊
Interesting but the Sharpie markers are not alcohol-based
@lunalovegoodwitch You are mistaken. Sharpies are indeed alcohol based.
Looks like CaliArt blends better than ohuhu
Im early for once
😊
@@HowtoDrawwithLela you replyed🥲
Can you please teach how to draw an e y e drawing and colour it I am begging
She already did it ^^ it's one of her first video
Tysm! Pls can u pin this comment? It'll make my day
how to draw yourself!
My friend called chisel nibs highlighters 😭😭
The blending looks horrible, honestly. Not sure if it's the Ohuhu paper or the colors you picked to blend together. It's definitely not the markers. However, I'm using the A3 marker pad from Ohuhu, so the bigger version of the one you have. And I have no issues getting smooth blends even with my cheap Chotune brush markers. I have to pick the colors right, tho. They can't be too far apart or have too big of a brightness difference. The paper doesn't seem to be able to handle that. It's not the best paper for markers, imo. I personally prefer the Luma Marker Paper and the Deleter Comic Book Paper for better blending. On the Ohuhu paper I only do the base layers with markers, (plus easy basic blends) then color the rest with pencils. The Ohuhu paper feels like ordinary cardstock, not a very good quality marker paper imo.
its pernounced Bianyo
I didn't get my reply.. Please feel free to reply this: I've tried to draw like you and i do love drawing.. But I cant draw like you.... Main thing is I've got no alcohol markers, Fine liners, sketchbook or anything.. Do you know what can i do to improve my drawing skills...???? And I'm your greatest fan from Kerala.. And I wanna see this artist who is really blessed and creative. So can u do a face reveal......
why r u screaming at me..
