- My family and I went for a day trip from Osaka to Shiga prefecture. We visited an awesome sledding hill called Makinokogen on the North West side of Lake Biwa. More videos can be found here / foundinjapan

Thank you for watching. Do you like snow?
Awesome video! We'll put this in our must-go places for snow! 2:59 that's where we wanna go for autumn.
Thanks. Yeah I am going to upload a short of just that I think.
Doesn't look crowded either. Good stuff!
Yeah it was super nice. You think the heavy snow the day or two before helped
Looks like fun!
Thanks it really was. I think we already made plans to go back next year.
That was fun! Reminds me of when my dad used to take my sisters and me skiing when we were kids.
Nice. I was hoping some people could feel the same. When I was little my dad would do the same. I think we will going back later for sure. Maybe next year I wont be hurt and can have the kids try and sky or snowboard.
@@foundinjapan I hope your back is feeling better soon!
@@pilotgrrl1 yeah it is doing better
Nice video 👍
Thanks 👍
Wow. Is this your longest vlog? I've been meaning to get out to the snow this year too but Ali broke her toe.
First one in a long time.
Great video! What month did you visit? We’re going to Biwako Ski Resort in early March and wondering whether there’s still gonna be some snow atop the mountain.
Thanks for watching. I did a live on the mountain th-cam.com/users/live39nQvco9cOE?feature=share and it says Jan 29th. I know that some places have snow till March but mainly Hokkaido and the Tohoku region. THis site outlines the ski situation japan-skiguide.com/guide/htm/r0254ens.htm there is also a link to the camera. It is currently 9pm so cant see much.
