Not really. This is non-canonical, it's a different premise and it's presented much less ambigously. It's more like a beefed up, slightly altered version of the Justice Lords arc in the cartoon/what happened between that and the continuation of it in the pages of Justice league beyond.
Plus it's much better than Civil War, mostly because it's non canonical and also because it doesn't have tie-ins.
I don't get it. Why didn't FLash fix everything. That speech should of mad ehim want to do it more, more so than commit to something he admits he hates.
Tex The Slayer He said that changing time is too much of a risk. Also, he said "What if this is how everything is supposed to be." What if in that universe Superman was supposed to become a dictator. He said changing time could make everything a lot worse so he didn't..... However, if you play the video game, the Flash does become a good guy at the end again.
Watch flashpoint and you will know why.

The one thing I disliked about Injustice was how slow the Flash was. In the actual game I get that he can't be too fast but in the cutscenes he was so slow.
They essentially play out bullet time whenever they show the Flash and they had to tone him down in the game or he would just get abused
Lex mentioned when they decided to open the portal to get the other Justice League that he had been siphoning off power from the Flash for a while now, which may explain why he's slower than he should be. Something similar happened at the very beginning of the new 52 run of the Flash if I remember right and it made him pretty significantly slower

I was typing in Injustice game story when you said you covered it. You're the only voice I want explaining comic book characters to me no matter the medium. I respect all of the work you guys do and everything you look at almost every story and say how it ties into every relevant story. I can say I haven't been more happy to stumble on a page since Cinemawins.
For me it felt like the writers were like "THERES THE ENDING NOW GO AWAY" when this ended

I don't think people know that this is a prequel to the Injustice game and thought it was an individual comic series. It was all a lead up to the story line of the Injustice game, it is call marketing. People saying cash grab but really only been following these videos they get for free and can get the entire story on TH-cam but still complain. Lol

Probably not. This is basically the entire thing with Superman/Batman, while part 2 is simply about villains and such taking advantage of the power vacuum with Superman out of it, while apparently he himself has broken out.

The most epic and best series I have seen out of your entire channel. They need to make more of this. This was very interesting, deep, lots of connections and developments. I liked it a lot!
Oh FUCK THIS. I don't blame the channel obviously, but this storyline is basically the only reason I'm still subscribed, and this ending is just fucking weak. I loved Injustice as an idea, it was the pinnacle of Batman's cunning and strategy vs Superman's sheer force. I supported Batman throughout, but even if he'd been defeated/killed in the end, it'd be better than this.
To me this will always be the series which comes to mind when someone talks about producers trying to earn money over creating a satisfying story. Kill Batman, kill superman, hell, kill them both. But this is just prolonging a story which has already covered almost all characters in DC and needs to just end

And the game even shows in many ways how Insurgency Bruce was no different than Regime Clark since he wanted revenge, not justice... at least until the end, especially since he didn't really get the pain Regime Clark felt was from his feeling responsible for Metropolis and Lois.
+Bryon Youngblood I skimmed through the first two years of Injustice comics, while I got the summary of the rest of the story from this channel. While skimming through the comic, I got the impression that Batman was gravely at fault and he horribly mishandled the situation. Batman should have tried talking and comforting Superman immediately after the tragedy with Lois and Metropolis. Instead, Batman immediately starts enacting contingency plans and starts secretly acting against Clark, even to the point that he doesn't join the Justice League when they try to save Jonathan and Martha Kent from Mirror Master (who was under the orders of the US President). If only Batman tried to be a friend instead of a masked vigilante for a while, Supes may have regained his sanity. But that's just me.
KhukuriGod Yeah. Plus Clark was motivated by going for broke after the guilt he felt, which led him to form the One Earth Government. Wonder Woman wasn't better, since Diana wanted to work to make the world better with Clark and her own feelings for him blinding her judgment.

The game came before the comic book. There for the game is the dominant media for this entire story. So its not that so much having to play a game to get the ending to the comic, its that the comic was merely there to add to the games story.
Thats always how its been, this has been a prequel to a video since it was invented.

He returned during that segment I mentioned where they kidnapped Cyborg. It was 8 more issues of filler to get to the ending which was intentional to make it lead up to the new Injustice Comic. So we just skipped over it to get to the ending finally

Honestly, I think this could have all ended sooner if Batman just had a chat to Superman like this:

But, this story is amazing, and gives us a bit of a darker Superman, without pulling a "Hail Hydra".

lmao I don't follow with year 1 or 2 or whatever, dumb it down for me. But here's a better question, in the fight against the gods, couldn't Zeus just kill Superman? As of matter of fact, Hades could destroy Superman. I'm tired of Superman being showed off as a God when he's just a mortal.
Had to rewatch Year 3. Basically The Spectre didn't have a human host which is why the imp was able to control him. What a load of bs plot device.

The ending isnt too bad, it leads into the video game. There is just no crazy fight to end it because it wouldnt make much sense to have that and then go into the games plot.
No, it wouldnt have made a ton of sense, but I liked that they took what the game had built and went their own direction with it. To go from there and be like ok, and here is the game, feels... really lackluster

Smeagol the Vile the comic is made for the game, keeping the ending like this is a very common thong for most prequels. And bless you for copping out off a good comic run just cause you hated the ending. The game concludes the story and it's one of the best DC stories in gaming.
Why would wonder woman trade shocked looks with hal? She's basically the whole reason the regime exists. She had such a hard-on for superman, that she thought the only way to be with him after death of lois lane was to basically play on his emotions. WonderWoman is essentially lady macbeth in this stroy.

My only real problem with the storyline is the Zsasz retcon. I see no reason for it.
That makes two universes three:
Universe A: Our regular heroes.
Universe B: Injustice the Games (Zsasz is killed by Robin as a rebellion against Batman in year one.)
Universe C: Injustice the Comics (Zsasz is killed by Nightwing as revenge for killing Alfred Pennyworth in year five.)
Although it is possible that Zsasz was simply brought back to life after year one.
It amazes me how many people are finding out just now that this is a prequel comic. I wouldn't usually care, but seriously...HOW? I'm pretty sure this has been mentioned everywhere, even in these videos, for the past 3 years.

Great video! After reading the comics watch a full Injustice movie on TH-cam. There are a few versions, but the IGN video has some nice fighting on hard mode included. I'm not a gamer, so this is a way to know the ending of the story

Just feels incomplete as you said. I liked year one where Alfred beat up Superman after he broke Batman's back, and that year 4 annual with Plasticman breaking the lanterns out of jail.
I still don't understand why Flash could not fight Superman. He has the power to do so, and yet he said, "it's not that simple". It may not be simple, but it can be done; he is one of the few that can beat or kill Superman
