maybe but that would mean pretty much 2 games in 1 cool for us but maybe too much for the makers i think when a game allows you to choose there wont be a next game, for example star wars force unleashed, ending was a choice and there is no third game
I think some here forget what Brother Eye had become in the comics. Namely DC Comic's version of Skynet. How is that better? How is that the good ending?
Yeah, injustice batman is a massive hypocrite. Authoritarian regimes are bad! Let me make a big brother style surveillance system that spies on everyone in secret and is only answerable to me. This is perfectly reasonable. It's not about whether people have freedom, it's about whether they have the illusion of freedom, because that's somehow better. We don't kill. But traumatic brain injuries are cool. Green arrow blowing up boats w/ people, also cool. I can't possibly trust green lantern b/c he worked with the regime. I don't care if he feels regret and is trying to redeem himself. But Harley Quinn who helped joker blow up metropolis and killed millions is a cool lady in my book. I mean, look at her redemption arc! I regret being unable to convince Superman from his madness. This is why I'll proceed to pull out a surprise kryptonite knife on him after 2 sentences of trying to convince him not to murder brainiac. This will surely go perfectly, just like when I pulled out a red sun grenade so that he could have the time to grieve and chill out (as surprise grenades tend to do). What do you mean surprise attacks don't help convince people that I'm in the right?
There's a slight difference. Brother eye is mostly for surveillance when there is trouble, essentially police cameras everywhere, but how situations are handled is still as per normal. Superman would attempt to stop problems before they are even one, with excessive force if necessary to set an example, destroy cities to set an example, and (as of this ending) mind-control people if necessary.
Yeah, and Scarecrow appearing in this game, despite being killed in literally the first Injustice comic. That's what you get when you have two kill-happy groups of writers who evidently didn't do a good job of comparing notes.
Lady Wanderer it actually has some possible connections between the batman's ending and convergence. On convergence, superman escaped from the phantom zone when the world was being destroyed (should've stayed lol) and batman, Harley and cyborg looked exactly like their injustice GAU attires. Plus brainiac was alive because batman spared him.
Lady Wanderer I know, but in the comic world, anything(almost) is possible. That could be the route they would go(although that would be assuming too much)
@@rewritefan8386 but who knows if the main Universe lois dies....that superman might snap too.....joker can psychologically break any superhero..... except batman
So now as I’m just watching this back I realised a question I never thought to ask. What happened to Harley Quinn? Did Supergirl bring her to the fortress of solitude? That wouldn’t have been a safe place, did she recover or die from her injury? What happened?
Who knows? Also what happened to blue beetle, firestorm, swamp thing, cyborg, catwoman, green lantern, black adam, wonderwoman, flash, etc? Basically the endings only talk about superman, supergirl and batman and everyone else is irrelevant.
Well this depends on the version,if Superman won it's safe to assume everyone is either dead,Joine superman willingly or a brainac zombie. If Batman won, the Regime is imprisoned (most of them at least)the rest are alive and well.

For the batman ending does gold kryptonite work permanently? Like to have Superman with powers again if they do a 3, will they have to deus ex machina something to fix it or retcon the effects? Or would it just be atime gap then enough sun and he's good to go again?
I totally want to see the comic series that tells the tale during the game like ground zero. Just to see what happened to everyone else during the endings

It's interesting that in the mcu, everyone works together to save the world, but in the dceu, superman goes insane and everyone fights each other and there's so much destruction
What the fuck is wrong with batman....if 1 person is even killed then he should just forgive his friend....but he opposes him and fights him.....yeah the most clever person 🙂
Hope is superman ending is canon so we can have an objective to overthrow superman once again and try to save batman. In fact, that could be a great opportunity to have custom characters from one of the races mentioned by superman. Which means we could start as a regime soldier rebelling against superman
Only worry is that it'd be so ludicrously stacked against the good guys that it would take a miraculous amount of ass pull to give them even a sliver of chance. Remember that in injustice 1, superman didn't have all these alien soldiers, didn't have brainiac's tech, and didn't have batman mindcontrolled. In fact, batman had 2 crucial moles on his side (lex luthor and catwoman), and brought over 5 parallel dimension super heroes and almost lost (until superman prime shows up to save the day). How would a single alien soldier have any chance at saving batman and overthrowing superman? You would need ridiculous contrivances upon contrivances to make it so that the story doesn't simply end with "superman then stomped everyone's face in".
@@popsicleman8816 Superman does mention the Green Lantern corps implying he may start an expansive war against them, that would be a really good start. GL corps teaming up with some of the heroes that escaped Superman's grasp but left earth to protect themselves (would be a great time to introduce some guys like Martian Manhunter to the story alongside a couple members from the first and second game that escaped like Flash and Firestorm). Then you have the main cast find a way to end the brain control one hero at a time, gradually turning the tables on Superman, with Batman being the last member to turn (so he can be the last chapter).
I kinda hope that Superman's ending is the canon one, would be interesting to see that storyline continued in the comics and to see how Batman breaks free and so on...

The Injustice games were way better than the BvS and Civil War movies. Those were very disappointing. When a video game is a better movie than actual movies, that is saying something
Well Injustice is set in a universe where they don't have to worry about conitnuing into other series and franchises. This means characters can die and stay dead and they can majorly shake up the status quo. In this case the difference between BvS and all the other in canon Batman vs. Superman stories when compared to Injustice is that at the end Bruce and Clark need to be on the same side. Injustice is a universe where that can never happen. If BvS played out like Inustice they would be bitter enemies always which was never the filmmakers intention nor the intention of any writer in the comics who has tackled the same subect in the comic in canon. Another time Batman and Superman fought to the death was in Superman red son which ended in Bruce's death. There is never compromise when the two are REALLY at odds which is why they can never truly fight purely over ideological differences like in this game in the canon. The same logic somehwat also applies to Civil War although in their case they could have gotten away with a bigger division since it happened in the canon comic. Disney just don't like risks.
I liked how Injustice 2 made Superman out to become a villain later on in the storyline. Because it kinda shows you why people fear him so much. Also I may I point out that Batman's ending of it all really feeds into what is bound to happen in Injustice 3. Whereas Superman's ending seemed more like it was just added in there for to not only please the Superman fans, but to also give Superman some recognition. Considering that he has barely ever had a video game dedicated to him.

@The Star Wars Guy like how in Starfires ladder ending she states that Beast boy is has MIA for so long that everybody thinks he is dead yet she has been in with Superboy for most of the story who was not only was in the metropolis blast with him but also held beast boy as he died. Its very clear the comic writers and the game writers didn't communicate very well.
@@ultraknight40000 arcade endings aren’t cannon
@@salvadortapia5558 that doesn't really change my point there is a disconnect between the comics and games that is quite clear when you have both
scarecrow was picked up by robin or nightwing or something in injustice
He really made the game sound like a comic book and it was pretty awsome !!!! 🤷🏻♂️
I hope that in Injustice 3 (if they ever make it) that in the beginning You can choose which ending you picked in IJ2 and both would have the same outcome but different plot
So then maybe that way it’s actually worth seeing both sides since it’s not just a short ending but the entire game
Sounds like a lot of work for the game designers, but pretty awesome for us.
maybe but that would mean pretty much 2 games in 1
cool for us but maybe too much for the makers
i think when a game allows you to choose there wont be a next game, for example star wars force unleashed, ending was a choice and there is no third game
it has happened before tho, look at the og god of war, halo 3, and bioshock 2 for example @@crimsonhunter7598
15:28 wonder woman as wonder woman XD lol ha ha
Comics and games both my favorite things
RIP man, you are and you will, be missed.
Goddd!!! I hate superman i just get angry thinking about him
raoul Rob
This Superman makes me sick to my stomach
m1 You mean the injustice incarnation of superman?
20:11 ehh don't worry. If you Choose superman, grood will be fine in Masters of the Universe vs injustice lol.
CoolmanX5 You know that's only a WHAT IF story right?!
gibbs615 yes, hence the "if you choose superman" in the comment, operative word "IF".
CoolmanX5 Okay IF!
Not cannon. next
Hey what are your thoughts on Heroes in crisis #1 and will you cover it ???
This is actually an awesome story arc
First video I ever watched of yours. Rip Benny. ❤
Awesome Vid comicstorian!
@HyperX Triggerfuck you bastard
Yay injustice 2 compete story
Great story telling bro
that opening where zaz was killed was so conflicting with the comics
Yeah, and Scarecrow appearing in this game, despite being killed in literally the first Injustice comic. That's what you get when you have two kill-happy groups of writers who evidently didn't do a good job of comparing notes.
@@adesperateyoutuber2117 It's a different continuity. Are you dumb?
Possible aftermaths scenarios:
Batman wins: convergence in which everyone in that universe dies.
Superman wins: Injustice vs Masters of the Universe.
That could be the route they would go(although that would be assuming too much)
CoolmanX5 i highly doubt that they would go through that route
""You suck!" *fighting ensues* "you know, we should work together."
Me literally laughing and crying because reverse flash has the suit that flash really should have had :D
Highly appreciate your videos!! Keep it going!
Both endings are pretty damn good. The question is which one should they continue with in Injustice 3?
Probably Batman's ending. But Superman's ending leads to Injustice/He-Man Crossover comic.
Dang man, I always thought that Superman was gonna be a great hero. He and Wonder Woman betrayed the Justice League.
In this universe. This universe is quite different from the main one (in certain aspects).
@@rewritefan8386 but who knows if the main Universe lois dies....that superman might snap too.....joker can psychologically break any superhero..... except batman
@@shivamsud hes batman!
What about Cyborg? Did he join Batman after the ending or is he still loyal to Superman?
I've never really played the game, but I love this story.
That Beard is reaching its true potential benny 👌
hey comicstorian i love your videos wish you would do some anime stories though.
Yeah this one was awesome can’t wait for another one!
23:19 dont you mean batman tells him
They still never explained where is Wally west flash within the injustice universe and that’s still bothering me till this day.
Yo I lowkey forgot about Wally. Now I'm curious as to where he was this entire time because we know Bart is dead and Reverse flash is alive
It was explained in the comics for Injustice. He died during the explosion of Metropolis
The Protagonist actually he wasn’t in the explosion that was Bart Allen kid flash not Wally west
The Protagonist Not to mention the comics don't really match up to the games anymore
So now as I’m just watching this back I realised a question I never thought to ask.
What happened to Harley Quinn?
Did Supergirl bring her to the fortress of solitude? That wouldn’t have been a safe place, did she recover or die from her injury? What happened?
Harley Quinn didn't die.
19:36 black Adams cape lmao
This is a masterpiece i only wish this could happen in the movies
Like this is better than any avengers movie
Selina Kyle is the real MVP of the Injustice Universe!
Two questions 1. When will you message/announce the lego dc supervillains origin winners 2. Will you do the spidergeddan event
Needed to ask when are you gonna post about injustice vs masters of the universe
Hope there will be an injustoce 3
Benny covering the Video Game on Comicstorian? Shall I suggest a Gamingstorian channel for this sorta thing? That's a free idea by me but this was a surprise
i'd like to see either the Transformers Cybertron games, or back to the future the game
For the batman ending does gold kryptonite work permanently? Like to have Superman with powers again if they do a 3, will they have to deus ex machina something to fix it or retcon the effects? Or would it just be atime gap then enough sun and he's good to go again?
This might not be a video game series that has to do with comic books, but please do the Metal Gear Solid series. Amazing storylines
Injustice 3: Gods That Laugh
Have Barbatos, The Batman who Laughs and the other Dark Nights Metal characters join the battle.
It would be cool to get a KingdomCome Superman vs InjusticeSuperman.
Both lost the ones they loved but they reacted and acted in different ways.
Thanks for telling me this. I wanna check out kingdomCome superman
Kingdom Come is such an amazing read. I was so in love with the art, I had to get the “Marvels” comic. I’d love to see a 10-year DCU ending with KC.
yep but the other endings seems optional but dont ask how this phenomenon got raiden, sub zero, ninja turtles, and hellboy got involved into this mess
I totally want to see the comic series that tells the tale during the game like ground zero. Just to see what happened to everyone else during the endings
Awesome video and since you are going to do the Spider-Man PS4 storyline would you consider doing other spidey game stories like Web of shadows, Shattered Dimension and Edge of time.
And maybe the Transformers cybertron games too
Benny has reached his final form
Bearded Benny
How is swamp thing alive when he was dragged down to hell by Trigon? It does t match up with what they have previously done?
Could be a new Swamp Thing
I wouldn't mind seeing a Recap of the Halo Comics. They're good, but very hard to find. This would help.
What happened to Superboy and the battle of booster and blue beatle against the red lantern monster?
Wait a second isn't Dr.Fate a multiverse level entity so to mind control Dr Fate wouldn't brainiac also be a multiverse level entity?
Main universe Dr.Fate is but this one isn’t since he lacks the feats to be put at that level
Wait, I thought swamp thing got stuck in the hell dimension. When did he get out, did I miss something from the other videos?
This is an amazing story. Also I like Batman’s ending.
Dictatorship vs democracy
Whats up with superman and his weird face braclet thing on his face
M A R K E T I N G
Angery on what tho sexy head braclets?
Damn some of the teen titans are still trapped in that shit from like the first or second year in the comics
Can you do arkham games
He should do arkham knight
I would love for you to do some Kaiju themed comics. If you want Ideas, here are some:
The Monsterverse comics
Godzilla: Rulers Of Earth
The Marvel Comics Godzilla storyline
The Project Nemesis Comic Book adaptation
The Batman ending is better but the idea behind the Superman ending and the new suits that they wear are cool
It's interesting that in the mcu, everyone works together to save the world, but in the dceu, superman goes insane and everyone fights each other and there's so much destruction
Well, to be fair to DC, THEY'VE never had a civil war in their main comics
What the fuck is wrong with batman....if 1 person is even killed then he should just forgive his friend....but he opposes him and fights him.....yeah the most clever person 🙂
They are probably going to involve the The Gods. I have been waiting too long for the story to bring in Darkseid.
Hope is superman ending is canon so we can have an objective to overthrow superman once again and try to save batman. In fact, that could be a great opportunity to have custom characters from one of the races mentioned by superman. Which means we could start as a regime soldier rebelling against superman
Master Mind
I like that
Only worry is that it'd be so ludicrously stacked against the good guys that it would take a miraculous amount of ass pull to give them even a sliver of chance.
In that case the victory of the good guys would be too far fetched..... superman is stronger than ever and has many superheroes under his control.
Very great game and very great channel and voice of yours
Take a shot every time he says “Meanwhile” or “In the comics”
Peep the numbers in superman's back when he is sent to the phantom zone 👀
I wonder which ending is canon
Jonathan Orengo BATMAN'S!!!
gibbs615 I hope so Superman’s seems to end it all but you never know
Probably Batman
I kinda hope that Superman's ending is the canon one, would be interesting to see that storyline continued in the comics and to see how Batman breaks free and so on...
Jonathan Orengo Superdick's ending is just CRAZY!!! After ALL the rebuilding Batman has done since the last time THAT'S what's gonna happen in the end with Superdick taking over AGAIN using Brainiac's technology?!...HELL NAW!!!
I'm not a fan of comic books i don't know much about them but i am a fan of your enthusiasm
The Injustice games were way better than the BvS and Civil War movies. Those were very disappointing. When a video game is a better movie than actual movies, that is saying something
Just like the new Spiderman game
LedZep's X That’s not really a fairytale comparison...
Sure but tell me how
rick johnson Who are you talking to?
My main question is why do they use Arkham city’s theme in the main theme of Injustice 2 which mixes injustice 1 and Arkham city
F*ck superman's ending
So does this take place in the injustice verse a couple years after or before?
I liked how Injustice 2 made Superman out to become a villain later on in the storyline. Because it kinda shows you why people fear him so much. Also I may I point out that Batman's ending of it all really feeds into what is bound to happen in Injustice 3. Whereas Superman's ending seemed more like it was just added in there for to not only please the Superman fans, but to also give Superman some recognition. Considering that he has barely ever had a video game dedicated to him.
If this video was released a week ago, I wouldn’t have wasted 2 hours watching the game’s cutscene
