I told you we would be covering video games as well as comics now. But like I said it'll stay focused on series with comic books that aid the lore. Next we are working on some Spider-Man and deeper explanations into that world. But with Assassins Creed coming out next week, Im trying to think of a solid thing to cover in the world of Assassins Creed and get that out there. We have a MASSIVE series on our gaming channel that needs some severe updating but I dont think the answer is to upload a series of 15 videos here lol. What do you guys think? Also, before you say it, Assassins Creed has an ongoing comic series that has gone on for YEARS, I love it myself.

You know that beginning section could just be batman remembering what happened from his perspective. Or what he wished would've happened. You could have stated, "As Bruce Wayne awaken from his dream on what he wish could've happened....". I truly respect your channel and this is not me complaining.

You're right... Flashpoint and Crisis didn't make any sense and was in no way enjoyable. And the Black Ops Zombie community is not at ALL passionate about the Treyarch story whatsoever. He's also handcuffed with kryptonite. Doomsday or anyone else in there would finish him.
You also forgot that zod is also trapped there along with doomsday , besides you don't age or die in the phantom zone , so no one can kill each other , they can fight but neither would win

Rick Grayson Well Batman’s ending is WAY more cooler than Superman’s because Batman wears his kryptonite bat suit to take down Superman, depowers him, and sends him into the Phantom Zone and Batman offers Supergirl a membership in the New Justice League. That way, Supergirl will be a bigger, better and a far more greater hero than her cousin ever was.

I'd be okay with ONE MORE Injustice before starting a trilogy in a new timeline.
At a certain point it becomes unbelievable for Superman not to have even a slight change of heart. Like I buy a bit of his heel turn in the first injustice but at this point after being in prison for a hot min and realizing the mess he made, he doesn’t even think for one sec… “maybe this ain’t it”. And no ptsd for killing some of his friends? Like he doesn’t have to do a full face turn but he should at least get closer to somewhere in the middle…like an antihero or something. Idk…it’s already a stretch to make him evil (even though it’s a great choice) but it’s even a bigger stretch to keep him that way. But I’m not getting paid to write the story so the fuck do I know!?!? 🤷🏾♂️

@@benman92 Yup...If there is anyone who can keep Superman grounded in reality, it's either one of his Earth parents, especially his mom. Like when you really stop to think about the Injustice comic/game, it really starts to unravel a bit. It's still cool but Superman's origin would need to change a little for this kinda of unadulterated, maniacal and, villainous turn to be believable after a while. Again, Louis and his unborn child getting savagely beaten to death by Superman himself is terrible and anyone can buy him killing the Joker and becoming more vicious in his approach to humans and injustice...But for him to start murdering his friends, not give a fuck about his parents wishes, and for Bruce, his bestfriend, not to reach him...yeah, it's kinda ridiculous. Idc if WW was in his ear telling him to not give a fuck, which is also a questionable take on WW, most of the knowledge we have on Clark is that at some point he would have leveled off and figure his shit out...he def would never be the same Superman he also wouldn't become a straight up evil, fascist, dictator but I think a more realistic portrayal would have him living somewhere in between...like more aligned with how Black Adam is portrayed nowadays. But hey, at the end of the day this shit was made to sell a very cool video game and it did just that.

He's been so blinded by his anger and his need for revenge that anyone who disagrees with him starts to feel like an enemy. Because they're in his way. That happens to people all the time, and they lose their entire social circles over it.

@@LordofFullmetal I understand that that happens to people but I have a hard time believing that it would happen to Clark Kent. From what we are led to believe from jump, this Superman has the same backstory as prime Superman….That Superman morals are unshakable for the most part. However, with Louis and his son dying by his own hands and the nuke going off killing millions…well…that can break anyone, I with you there. That’s not really the problem, the problem is how long he stayed broken and that no one was able to reach him…not even his earth mother or holographic Jor-El!? Like a more realistic and I think better story would be him going off at the beginning and then having him slowly work through his trauma and awful choices. As a matter of fact, that moment when he was dreaming about a life with Louis and Jonathan would have been a perfect moment for Clark to later question himself and really ask if this is what Louis would have wanted. Having him break and lose it and then have him
go through an emotionally gut wrenching redemption arc would’ve been so cool. Like imagine him trying to make amends and some people just not forgiving him. Superman would have to stomach that resentment and truly make up for the shit he’s done. It would also be a good lesson to readers of what TRUE redemption looks like, especially when a lot of folks these days have a hard time with accountability. If a writer expertly walked that line they could have gave us the best Superman story to date. But that Superman probably doesn’t sell a video game franchise. 🤷🏾♂️💁🏾♂️ But I respect your opinion! 🖖🏾

Man watching all of the injustice timeline makes me wanna watch stuff where they’re all friends again
The comics and games are surprisingly different. It is a great series, but I have gotten into arguments over what happens with my gamer buddies ( being the only one that read the comics and watched these videos)
I've noticed that there really aren't any differences between what happens in the first injustice game and it's comic counterpart. The injustice 1 comic actually lines up with the beginning of the game perfectly. Now injustice 2 the game does have a hard time lining up with the comic simply because the game decides to retcon a few things while the comic continues right where the original left off.
I think the Injustice 2 comics actually happen between both the Injustice 1 comics and game (since they're the same I think) and the Injustice 2 game, in other words the events of the game occurs after the comics

Atrocitus appears to be planning something and possibly Mongul, who does exist in the Injustice Universe but has only appeared in the comic series for Injustice 1.

The beginning doesn’t line up with the injustice comic like Zsasz’s death and Damian betraying Batman just saying unless I missed something.

I think the facial expressions in this game are some of the best I've seen in video games games, really true to life I think
there is still one question that has been floating in my brain since superman's rise to tyranny. how did joker manage to actually pull this off? where did he get the nuke? how did he know about lois and the unborn child? what gave him the capability to cause a tragedy so maliciously heinous, that it turned superman into what he fought against?
Good question! Seriously, what was batman doing while his nemesis managed to kidnap lois freakin lane, surgically link her heart rate to a nuke that was smuggled to metropolis, acquire kryptonite and fuse it with fear gas (another thing that makes no sense. how did Joker know what would happen? It's not like he had other kryptonians to test on), and gas superman with it? The premise of the entire story falls apart with some minor questioning...
Joker got the nuke from lex luthor, He might've also knew superman's identity from lex luthor.

The Joker has been shown to be able to find Batman's identity so it could be that he just found out that Superman is Clark and from there it wouldn't be hard to find Lois.
As for the Nuke, idk, maybe he found out a way to build one with his non-tax evasion dollars? idk.

Which means there’s plenty to go around if Batman simply ask firestorm to create more gold kryptonite
He does want Clark to come around... Its a ladt resort to try to depower him... Especially in case something like the brainiac attack were to happen again... At the end of it all they both want to protect the earth so they know that in the end if they have to fight an outside threat... They will likely both team up again if necessary... Batman holds him captive so that he can maybe find a way to save superman from himself.

Exactly. Batman knows that the Superman he once knew, his friend Clark Kent who loved and valued life and would rather die than harm a good person, is still in there somewhere.
Most likely the story to Injustice 3 is some threat from the Phantom Zone that sets Superman free.

I finally know when this game took place in the Injustice timeline, now I can ponder other things while I take a dump, thank you Comistorian.
I absolutely love these games and the story. The injustice main theme to me perfectly sums up everything. With the superman ending, possibly could lead to the injustice/he-man crossover that happened in the comics. Which was also awesome.
He really made the game sound like a comic book and it was pretty awsome !!!! 🤷🏻♂️
I hope that in Injustice 3 (if they ever make it) that in the beginning You can choose which ending you picked in IJ2 and both would have the same outcome but different plot

So now as I’m just watching this back I realised a question I never thought to ask.
What happened to Harley Quinn?

Who knows? Also what happened to blue beetle, firestorm, swamp thing, cyborg, catwoman, green lantern, black adam, wonderwoman, flash, etc? Basically the endings only talk about superman, supergirl and batman and everyone else is irrelevant.
Well this depends on the version,if Superman won it's safe to assume everyone is either dead,Joine superman willingly or a brainac zombie. If Batman won, the Regime is imprisoned (most of them at least)the rest are alive and well.

Possible aftermaths scenarios:
Batman wins: convergence in which everyone in that universe dies.
Superman wins: Injustice vs Masters of the Universe.
Lady Wanderer it actually has some possible connections between the batman's ending and convergence. On convergence, superman escaped from the phantom zone when the world was being destroyed (should've stayed lol) and batman, Harley and cyborg looked exactly like their injustice GAU attires. Plus brainiac was alive because batman spared him.
Lady Wanderer I know, but in the comic world, anything(almost) is possible. That could be the route they would go(although that would be assuming too much)

I think some here forget what Brother Eye had become in the comics. Namely DC Comic's version of Skynet. How is that better? How is that the good ending?
Yeah, injustice batman is a massive hypocrite. Authoritarian regimes are bad! Let me make a big brother style surveillance system that spies on everyone in secret and is only answerable to me. This is perfectly reasonable. It's not about whether people have freedom, it's about whether they have the illusion of freedom, because that's somehow better.
We don't kill. But traumatic brain injuries are cool. Green arrow blowing up boats w/ people, also cool.
I can't possibly trust green lantern b/c he worked with the regime. I don't care if he feels regret and is trying to redeem himself. But Harley Quinn who helped joker blow up metropolis and killed millions is a cool lady in my book. I mean, look at her redemption arc!
I regret being unable to convince Superman from his madness. This is why I'll proceed to pull out a surprise kryptonite knife on him after 2 sentences of trying to convince him not to murder brainiac. This will surely go perfectly, just like when I pulled out a red sun grenade so that he could have the time to grieve and chill out (as surprise grenades tend to do). What do you mean surprise attacks don't help convince people that I'm in the right?
There's a slight difference. Brother eye is mostly for surveillance when there is trouble, essentially police cameras everywhere, but how situations are handled is still as per normal. Superman would attempt to stop problems before they are even one, with excessive force if necessary to set an example, destroy cities to set an example, and (as of this ending) mind-control people if necessary.
This is actually an awesome story arc

Its very clear the comic writers and the game writers didn't communicate very well.

Kingdom Come is such an amazing read. I was so in love with the art, I had to get the “Marvels” comic. I’d love to see a 10-year DCU ending with KC.
it would be cool if Cyborg hacked Brainiac's ship and brought back the planets. Just than, a white lantern ring came towards Batman and allowed him to bring back people from the dead. Super man was happy to see Lois and his son. Super man agreed to stay in jail and Cyborg used Brainiac's technology to solve all of Earth's problems.

Yeah and then lois finds about what all superman did and gives him a divorce or whatever and she goes crazy again and does something stupid like he always does and lois dies again and he goes on a rampage again....moral of the story ....no one would mind if batman broke his rule once and killed superman

If superman ending is the canon one... Injustice 3 will just point out that Superman's methods ain't so working and decide to switch methods but if Batman's ending is the canon...well, they'll bring superman from the phantom zone for some reason

Hope is superman ending is canon so we can have an objective to overthrow superman once again and try to save batman. In fact, that could be a great opportunity to have custom characters from one of the races mentioned by superman. Which means we could start as a regime soldier rebelling against superman

Only worry is that it'd be so ludicrously stacked against the good guys that it would take a miraculous amount of ass pull to give them even a sliver of chance. Remember that in injustice 1, superman didn't have all these alien soldiers, didn't have brainiac's tech, and didn't have batman mindcontrolled. In fact, batman had 2 crucial moles on his side (lex luthor and catwoman), and brought over 5 parallel dimension super heroes and almost lost (until superman prime shows up to save the day). How would a single alien soldier have any chance at saving batman and overthrowing superman? You would need ridiculous contrivances upon contrivances to make it so that the story doesn't simply end with "superman then stomped everyone's face in".
In that case the victory of the good guys would be too far fetched..... superman is stronger than ever and has many superheroes under his control.
@@popsicleman8816 Superman does mention the Green Lantern corps implying he may start an expansive war against them, that would be a really good start. GL corps teaming up with some of the heroes that escaped Superman's grasp but left earth to protect themselves (would be a great time to introduce some guys like Martian Manhunter to the story alongside a couple members from the first and second game that escaped like Flash and Firestorm). Then you have the main cast find a way to end the brain control one hero at a time, gradually turning the tables on Superman,with Batman being the last member to turn (so he can be the last chapter).
Eobarde is the real hero here, at least he can still cause mayhem in an already messed up world

I liked how Injustice 2 made Superman out to become a villain later on in the storyline. Because it kinda shows you why people fear him so much. Also I may I point out that Batman's ending of it all really feeds into what is bound to happen in Injustice 3. Whereas Superman's ending seemed more like it was just added in there for to not only please the Superman fans, but to also give Superman some recognition. Considering that he has barely ever had a video game dedicated to him.

The Injustice games were way better than the BvS and Civil War movies. Those were very disappointing. When a video game is a better movie than actual movies, that is saying something

Well Injustice is set in a universe where they don't have to worry about conitnuing into other series and franchises.This means characters can die and stay dead and they can majorly shake up the status quo. In this case the difference between BvS and all the other in canon Batman vs. Superman stories when compared to Injustice is that at the end Bruce and Clark need to be on the same side. Injustice is a universe where that can never happen.
If BvS played out like Inustice they would be bitter enemies always which was never the filmmakers intention nor the intention of any writer in the comics who has tackled the same subect in the comic in canon. Another time Batman and Superman fought to the death was in Superman red son which ended in Bruce's death. There is never compromise when the two are REALLY at odds which is why they can never truly fight purely over ideological differences like in this game in the canon.
The same logic somehwat also applies to Civil War although in their case they could have gotten away with a bigger division since it happened in the canon comic. Disney just don't like risks.

Wasn't green Arrow dead in this timeline? And didn't his counterpart from the Good universe return there after the first Injustice game?
How did Swamp thing appear AFTER poison ivy was defeated and never noticed her before? How the hell did catwoman get back on Batmans side, after she tried to beat the crap out of him in the first game?
When did Firestorm have the time to make the Gold Kryptonite knife if he was kidnapped and brainwashed by brainiac?
If Brainiac was so aware of Black Adam's magic, how did he not forsee a Magic attack on his ship like everything Else before?
What happened to Eobard Thawne after this? He said he was trapped in this timeline...

Yup. Green arrow in injustice timeline is dead. Black canary from injustice timeline, and green arrow from another timeline where black canary is dead were saved and sent to a third timeline by Dr. Fate until he randomly brings them to injustice timeline. He almost immediately tries to bring them back out to protect them, but fails.
Swamp thing probably noticed the explosions of the boats after green arrow blew them up (probably killing the people on the ships btw, but the game conveniently forgets that)
Firestorm made the gold kryptonite knife after batman yelled at him for almost blowing everyone up. It's most likely the secret mission he gave him. The devs screwed up since they never show him hand the knife to him, nor showed him get brainwashed. So it comes off as a massive ass-pull.
Brainiac was aware of magic, but didn't seem to believe in it, as he does say 'this planet's so called magic' (paraphrased). He was only aware of it as in that a) it existed, and that b) it hid Kahndaq from him. He probably didn't know how to counter it nor know its full capabilities. It still does come off as bizarre that a 'superior intellect' like him basically ignored something as important as that.
Who knows? He literally disappears from the story after being beaten by WW. Then again, the game fails to explain what happens to most of the characters except superman, batman and supergirl (regardless of ending).
Basically, the plot is a complete mess.
Also the beginning of the game shows Damien and Batman going to Arkham to stop Superman even tho Damien would’ve already left Batman at that point since he killed Dick. And Damien kills Zasz who doesn’t die until later in the timeline.

To be fair, it's not the first time they make that mistake. Swamp thing is alive and kicking in the game, despite being in hell in the comics, and Damian kills Zaz way earlier in the game than in the comics. My guess is it's just two groups of kill-happy writers who didn't do a good job of comparing notes.
