Really, an embarrassing moment with a cell phone going off executed in an unrealistic and cheesy dumb sitcom style? Everyone points and yells? Miranda acts like a moron and in her embarrassment makes it worse? And who is the obnoxious and super fake producer person? Is that a bad Martin Short as Jiminy Glick impression? Pure cringe.
I watched the 1st season of the reboot for nostalgia, but couldn't get through Season 2. It was killing all fondness of the entire show. The characters didn't mature and are written as clumsy selfish idiots. They were sharper and more empathetic in all of SATC - their younger selves. It is badly written, poor dialogue, ridiculous unrelatable stories lines. The original series had daftness too, but at least 1 storyline would be relatable to a single women. It felt like it was writing about lives, where as the reboot is written to please some writers narrative. And Just Let It Go Away.
The whole “they” thing weirdly adds an extra crazy factor to it all, making this look like a skit from a legit freak show. Poor Tony Danza, he needs work this badly? Sad
