I done these steps in the video, got to the part where I have to wait, (after stating the 4digit code) my phone was in discovery mode, yet nothing popped up, I tried to delete the previous phone on my system, but still no devices popped up.

I have Honda Civic 2006 it’s dash board looks exactly like your car’s when I am trying to pair my phone with it and press the button that you were pressing nothing comes up at all but when I press the button behind it it is keep saying say again and pardon would you be able to guide me on how to pair my phone please?

I've had the car 10 years its a 2005 plate and I've periodically tried to read the manual and have a go without involving the hubby, is there a way when I receive a call it shows who the caller is and also can I make out going calls ?? once again thanks for your informational video. Karen Cutler yes, you can scroll through the menu, for numbers and it should show on the display who the caller is, thanks for watching!
Hi Barrie, I saw this video & notice you are pressing the HFT talk button and there is a bleep. Well I have a 2007 Civic 2.2 I-CTDI and when I press that button there is nothing at all, but when I press the button behind it, the "TALK" button, I still don't get a bleep or anything and the car constantly says "Pardon" or "can you repeat that".
It doesn't recognise ANYTHING I say. Can you advise me where to look to solve this issue?

Solved. Some fucker had nicked the bluetooth unit for my car. Its usually located behind the fascia underneath the engine start button. Got one via eBay (Must be right part number for your car) fitted it and now im up and running

Hi Barrie I followed the instructions as given but my phone never found the car , it just kept saying devices and the wheel on my iPhone was spinning but my phone said it was discoverable any ideas why that could be mate?
JaggedMan Central have you made sure there is space for a new phone, and if necessary deleted the others that are already paired to make space for a new one

Don't suppose you could do a video of how to delete Sat Nav entries? The Sat Nav in my civic still has the last owners, favourites and home address and i cannot find a delete option. There is also no SatNav codes, so i cant reset it (if i knew how). My owners manual covers everything but the SatNav. Cheers!

I've just got the exact same car today by connecting my phone to the car can I play music from my phone with bluetooth or is just for phone calls?
if you open itunes and click on the red triangle with the three red circles above it, see if your car audio is listed there, if it is just click the aux button on the radio till you see the name of the tunbe thats playing on your phone and turn the volume up, if you cant see it it your car probably doesnt have audio streaming if that is the case just follow these instructions www.bccars.co.uk/2019/04/27/how-to-stream-audio/

on some you can stream audio from your phone, once its paired by clicking the aux button until you see the song thats playing on your phone, then it should come through the speakers

I have aux button and original Navigation . My Iphone and my Civic connected coupled.
I klicking Aux Button but not Song playing my Iphone trough the speakers.
Calling is 👍 ok, but no Song.

Hi bud. I’ve just bought an fn2. I’ve deleted all previous phones. Paired my phone. When I press the phone button and say call wife it starts talking jibberish. Like #228 say call dial or continue to add numbers. Do you know what is going wrong. Pls. Your vids are cool by the way. I’ll be finding them useful quite a lot as it’s my first Honda and I’m totally lost.

@@BarrieCrampton yes mines a 2006 Honda civic diesel mk8 no sound from the buttons on the steering wheel I think the bluetooth control module is broke.

go into contacts, missed calls, call lists or just say " Hey Siri call ------------"

B A you have to click aux (or may be labelled media) until you can see the tune thats playing on your phone, but not all cars have audio streaming

To set the time, press the CLOCK
(AM/FM) button until the clock
display begins to blink, then release
the button. The displayed time
begins to blink.
Change the hour by pressing the H
(preset 1) button until the numbers
advance to the desired time. Change
the minute by pressing the M
(preset 2) button until the numbers
advance to the desired time.
Press the CLOCK button again to
enter the set time.
You can quickly set the time to the
nearest hour. If the displayed time is
before the half hour, pressing the
CLOCK button until you hear a beep,
then pressing the R (preset 3) button
sets the clock back to the previous
hour. If the displayed time is after
the half hour, the clock sets forward
to the beginning of the next hour.
For example: 1:06 will reset to 1:00

Hi can anybody help me with this model honda civic how do you change time on the dash. I have try hold AM/FM button it has not worked.
Hondas with sat navs have this time error since mew year and Honda says it will be fixed in a few months. I have same problem, the time cant be set, is made with radio gps signal that the sat nav system uses so we will have to wait, when it gets updated it should automatically be the right time one day.

open i tunes if its an iphone press the red triangle/circle at the bottom, see if your civic is listed and make sure its ticked, then go to the radio and press aux till you see your phone and the track playing, if you don't see it then your car does not have that function
