Wrong. Mostly Ozzy owes his solo career to Bob Daisley, aside from him having enough name and be managered by the Ardens, then Randy, Lee and Jake after which it was just riding the waves created by the aforementioned.
Bob would still have written some great music with another guitarist plus Ozzy's inputs, had Dana not introduced Randy. Of course it would have been very different. But we have to remember Bob and Ozzy were still playing with other guitarists when Ozzy returned from that time in L.A. to England so _all chips were still in the air_ .
Bob said their drummer and guitarist weren't good enough and from then when he heard Ozzy speak about the guy he'd heard in L.A. they still also had to persuade David Arden to have Randy flown to England etc.

Tim taught me how to play guitar in 94. He lived in Henderson around the corner from me, but we met at the halfway house. He was a great guy and an awesome teacher. I still play today but the 4 or 5 trips to his house he had me playing songs. If not for that I would never have stuck with it.

Slaughter is one of my favorite bands. Their music is like positive psychology. It leaves you in a positive mood. Mark S. and the guys are true legends.

I’ve always been so interested in the 80s sunset strip clubs … wish they’d let Dana and a few others just tell tales about the Starwood ,Rainbow, the Whiskey and many more

Thank you brother for being an ambassador of the greatest musical time period ever! All else pales by comparison! Music uses to be like fine dining regardless of your genre…it was extraordinary: now it’s hot pockets and tater tot’s. Keep it alive!
