You should start using supernaturalist that way you have monster and necrovalley protection, also have a free search per turn.

For some obvious unknown reason, both harpie feather duster and lightning storm has more chance to shown up against heavy stun deck back row on yugioh master duel.
Yes, master duel is not random, its scripted

Whenever i play back heavy deck, I often get second turn against combo deck. But if i play combo deck, i will get more first turn.

Hidden Temple It's an auto-win sometimes in duel links as well ... OP if you pull that card.
Just got to remember to not try to fusion summon with Spiritualist with hidden valley if Spiritualist is the only one out, because it'll count as there being no Gravekeepers on the field and blow up Hidden temple.

That’s why I moved away from it, then I added a bunch of trap cards and it runs a lot better now.

I love playing this deck. There are 2 loopholes to necrovalley ive faced. The first is if they chain a card or effect that moves cards from the gy like the tri brigade trap (which I hate) to the activation of necrovalley. The second loophole is if the card or effect moves the card in the gy as a cost to activate the effect. Not sure if the second is a bug but I'm sure it's how the interaction works since necrovalley only negates the effect of moving the card and not the cost.
You nailed the second one. Not being able to negate a cost comes up a lot more than youd think (looking at you, cherubini, verte and numeron network)
@@awildsylveon9896 it seems weird how that interaction works against the idea of necrovalley. Prolly one of the 20 erratas had it differently.
@@maestrotritone5975 better phrasing might be "cards cannot be moved from the graveyard to another place", which would prevent you from paying costs as well as activating effects.
But also please Konami for the love of God stop errataing this poor card
Gravekeeper deck is also one of the best stun deck. However, it did not have powerful destruction card like truedraco deck. And GK deck is to rely on necrovalley, royal tribute, secret villages of the spellcaster bonus if have secrets sanctuary of the spellcaster a lot, to lock your opponent from doing everything except activate trap card. But the gravekeeper deck is expensive compare to truedraco deck. I still like gravekeeper deck as it old archtype but still can deliver a good fight against rogue and occasionally top meta deck in certain condition. Old school yugi player will like this deck a lot.
Finally a showcase of my main! Its hit or miss most of the time but satisfying to deny meta decks when pulled off.

I’ve been using gravekeepers for 2 months and just making tweaks making it better and better. Removed all extra deck besides (3) supernaturalist and ran it for the entire fusion festival, got to 22,000 medals in 2 days, wasn’t hard.
Love this deck idea! But you really need to go first, because it will be an autoloss if your Opponent have a baroness for example turn one.
Those Royal Tributes are rough AF 😅🤣 I took Gravekeeper’s to platinum 1 last season. This time I’m working on Cyberdarks but I seem to be stuck around platinum 3 for now…

This isn't an auto win at all imo. I use Gravekeepers all the time and it isn't even a winning play half the time to use Royal Tribute. People just have spell cards that summon monsters most of the time. Temples isn't something you will be able to pull off every time. I only get the crazy lockdown that is auto win from temples and tribute a quarter of the time.
Idk how but me makes every deck look broken. Idk if he jas links in konami to get godlike hands an trash opponents.

@@dantevic It's not difficult to take a sample of duels and pick the best ones to add to the video. I don't like that aspect of Dkayed, he's not always honest about his decks and while entertaining, he's click baity.
@@virulenthunter3017 i watched him an he usually tries to get a win streak for every deck he plays. If you look in the corner theres a counter for the win streak he got but sometimes he dosn't reset it when he loses.
In old yugioh games, you actually get to see Hand/Deck after certain conditions.
For example, opponent activate Sangan (mandatory), but no targets left in deck, you can see their deck.
Another example, you have Stardust Dragon and opponent plays Shadoll Fusion, you chain compulsory to bounce your stardust. Your opponent claims cannot resolve Shadoll Fusion, so you can see their Hand and Extra Deck to verify.
But these changes, idk, rule change? To prevent unintended advantage? I mean, in paper game, you can have someone to verify whether the opponent telling the truth (such as judge).
On side note, Mind Crush card cannot be used to view opponent's Hand anymore I believe, previously, you can just declare some staples, and get some information anyway. (A plus if you hit a staples)
Rule change for irl too. This is not just a Master Duel thing.
I met this deck yesterday. I only had spells and one white stone of ancient in my hand. So I said thanks and summoned dragon spirit of white in his end phase and banished necrovalley

Whenever I tried playing these type of decks, my opponent will always open harpie feather duster or lightning storm.Its like its glued to their starting hand or Konami purposely let them draw these starting hands.

Yea, the game isn't as random as it seems to be. Harpie, Raigeki, Lightning storm are all restricted to 1. The odds of appearing should be extremely low. Yet, on average I would easily get 6 out of 10 games with one these cards on hand. Especially when I go first.

Isn’t it hard to resolve this card in person because the player isn’t obligated to oblige due to mechanics? Is why these particular cards require you to reveal your hand. I might be confused with Mind Crush.

My GK deck is different but it's because I wanted it to be able to fight back(maybe) if I end up going second and problem solving there after.
What do you use to help you when going second if you dont mind me asking? Just came back to the game & im trying to optimize my old GK deck
@Vecheeto I use Dark Ruler No More for going second if I can draw it, because if you can stifle omni-negate boards to get Necrovalley and GK Spiritualist out, then get your fusion effect and get GK Supernaturalist out. From there I'd try to lay down a Storming Mirror Force to bounce attackers back to the hand or extra deck since many modern boss monsters have protection from targeting and/or destruction respectively. It seals a lot of material to the graveyard, especially with XYZ monsters, and if you can also set a Great Iron Wall, it blocks both players from banishing, stifling a number of modern decks, like Floowandereeze for example.
@Vecheeto also look into level 4 XYZ monsters like Castel or Utopia; since if your necrovalley gets countered to the point you can't get it/keep it on the field or you're worried you're gonna get Ash Blossom on your search, you can use Necrovalley Throne as a double summon instead of search to get two level 4 gravekeeper's out. Then with Castel, you have a bounce to the hand/extra deck effect or with Utopia, you can stop two attacks of your opponent monsters.
I'm still working on different ideas for Gravekeeper's because it can be hit or miss still but I love playing my GK deck, it's my main. I have been also testing a Shaddoll/Gravekeeper's hybrid deck but I feel like the Shaddoll archetype really gets hampered by Necrovalley but I think there's some possibility there; especially with Quintet Magician, my secondary boss monster.

Please try Amorphage, it's an instant win deck if you go 1st. Set red Amorphage as pendulum scale, pendulum summon at least 1 Amorphage. Your opponents can't use any spell and cannot summon from Extra Deck.

This deck recipe is a few months old that even I have it.
Not really this build is terribly inconsistent, and people are not going to burn gems and craft points on Necrovalley when there are better floodgates that help more decks.

Interesting deck
Gravekeepers are slow. I did use it for Fusion event but your gonna brick-hard many times. Starlight is great if you bring out the monster but I do use 2. I also use 2 trap cards from Tenchi I think it's called but it does 2 things but the 2nd if this card is destroyed you can bring out a normal monster fusion and here come Blue eyes Ultimate dragon 4500 att ready to go. I throw in a few more other fusions that are normal but lesser att just for giggles.
Gravekeepers can never autowin. But gravekeepers are great and need some more support

I once use GK going first to lock my opponent, my opponent was using monarch anti meta.
I got rape so hard from monarch 😅
GK is great, but it does back fire against none meta like Draco decks at times 😢

@@Unstable_Mayhem personally, Draco is very easily can be handle with decks like PK and so on.
My only issue against them is anti meta decks like GK are terribly weak against sniper engine like draco since we really need the set up and can't really afford to judgement a mere 1 trade that put our life point at risk against it.
Draco is just a really good anti Meta deck that happen to do well against other anti Meta decks and is cheap. So it make sense that many run it 😂😂😂
A XYZ or Link GK monster would be nice. Something that would speed up then a bit to get Necro on the field or something .

Not a fan of that deck profile for gravekeepers tbh, there’s definitely much better profiles that are more consistent and have more Spell/Trap/Monster negates.

You need lots of hand traps to keep up. Even with royal tribute. Just drop demise and dogmatic punishment to play pot of extravagance. Its BETTER than demise cuz you NEED the fusion . it's mandatory since you dont need starlight road with that. Since it gives immunity. Then just run triple of each solemn
Its not a swordsoul video you are good to go
