@@nguyentandung42 I meant Swordsoul gets around the weakness of most Synchro decks by fixing the all tuners/no tuners hand issues that can happen. Infernoids are mad explosive. I've messed with the Lair version, which seems a lot slower and more controlling than this. This was very explosive. The fact that board got nuked without Onuncu or Tierra>NTss is nuts.
I think showcasing decks that can beat Swordsoul would help people realize how Swordsoul is 100% a beatable deck and not busted like some claim. It’s really good but not broken. It’s be cool to showcase Zombies, maybe PUNK combos, the Rose Tenyi decks, or other such. Just good other options for those who don’t wanna play the deck. But as a Swordsoul player myself, it’s been some of the most fun I’ve had in the game in awhile
There are also plenty of hard counters to Swordsoul. Anything that locks you out of special summoning can basically kill the deck going second. It's a completely fair deck, just one that has a lot of combo potential and can fight through several negates. Also, trading in that Herald of Arc Light that Dkayed runs for a third monk is 100% more useful.
Been learning a lot from watching you play SwordSouls! Love the high skill ceiling on the deck. Gotten me to Plat 1 fairly comfortably and I only started playing Yugioh 2 months ago.

The only time I'd lose with ssoul is when I open a longyuan pass hand. And out of 32 duels I opened it about 13 times. Literally longyuan into baronne pass with non-engine cards in hand. I'm so frustrated
My hands the last ten games have literally had no engine whatsoever and straight multiples. One hand sticks out with 3 ash 2 max c and drew into circle. With following hand of 3 max c 2 ash and drew into deskbot

Never built a meta deck. I've played vampires, dark magician, evil eye and kozmo. However, swordsoul tenyi artwork looks so amazing I might just have to build it.

No offense, but how? The last time I played ygo was like 10+ years ago. I downloaded the game yesterday, had no clue what 95% of the cards do and got easy plat IV already. Just spammed dragonmaids and cyberdark. Now in plat I start to lose a bit more, but mostly because I don't even know what the other decks can do.

Swordsoul is still a deck I’m struggling to properly pilot. I feel like regardless of what list I run I cannot get nearly as good a win rate as other people do.
Well you need to learn how to play the deck and try the different scenario. Its happened to me too with every other decks and Swordsoul too. Maybe the Swordsoul combo are simple and linear but the Tenyi one plus halqi combo need more learning for me cause its kinda complicated.

Swordsoul is just such a fun deck man, it's incredibly versatile and just rewards good play a lot, such a fun deck, I really love the master duel format right now, can't wait for the future banlists!
Swordsoul is so fun, you can get out a lot of synchro monsters from just one card. It is a relatively difficult deck if you want to get more syncros out instead of just Baronne and Chixiao but it is satisfying to pull off an end board with more than just 2 cards and a SS blackout
Nothing beats getting the draw you need to go Grandmaster/Baronne/Protos. It’s an insane overcommit, but so sweet to end on turn 1, with Blackout. SS-Tenyi recovers SO much better, but Pure w/ DPE lets you run such a sick pile of disruption.
I really enjoy this deck, great for a noob like me to learn combos. Although I got my ass beaten today when I selected Dark on Protos (with Baronne and grandmaster Chixiao on field), because I had no intel on the enemy Deck and they just otked me next turn with Photons. What are good combos to summon a Chao Feng 1st turn?
I´ve found that a great way to beat Swordsoul is to play monkey flip decks. I play Numeron Network with Limiter Removal, Swordsoul tends to end on Baronne and Chixiao, Lava Golem tribute, or negate their effects and summon 4 Numeron Gates and proceed to inflict 8000 in one turn. I´ve faced against plenty Swordsoul Tenyi, but since i´m going blind second, and my opponent doesnt know what i´m playing, i´ve won pretty much all matches against Swordsoul with Numeron.
@@timaeus22222 I'm on diamond 1 and I still haven't seen a player that can end on more than Barrone Chixiao blackout. I know that swordsoul can end on way more than that cause I've played the deck myself a few times and end on Chaofeng, Protos, Chixao, Barrone, but most players don't know how to play the deck very well
Swordsoul is really fair deck tbh, face them couple time and the winrate is about 90%, their end board easily break out not like drytron ultimateness/eldlich floodgate. Btw im using trizoodiac dpe.
So, if you use the deck people hate, you can beat the other deck people hate, gotcha. But seriously, It is good that no one meta deck takes over all others, but other times, you get some infernoid guy who proves why Reasoning got limited lol. It gets weird when you realize some of the "banned" strategies are only on par with the current meta though, and I think that's what really raises eyebrows on a deck like Swordsoul.
Water XYZ/Shark Kragen also has a really good match-up, if we go first and use Kragen + Gozen Match they can barely do anything, and going second we have enough extenders and/or ways to bait interaction to be able to play through

Monarchs was my first real deck in Master Duel so that'd be cool to see. Thing about Monarchs is that it has awesome combos you can pull off and you can screw over a lot of meta decks with the different floodgate cards but the downside is that you HAVE to go first since there's no room for hand traps, and even then the deck has a bricking problem. Even still, I love the deck and it's so satisfying when things are going good and you have a top tier meta deck struggling against you lmao
Had anyone noticed random people running random stuff like world chalice normal monsters and Blade knight with a 5 card extra deck? I've ran into several today and they all do nothing and let the timer sit until connection fails
I had a infernity deck use monster gate while I had dimensional fissure out after he exhausted his other moves to destroy my dimensional fissure, he scooped after watching 6 monster cards get excavated to the banish pile. If you play infernity, be wary of cards that banish like dimensional fissure if you use your mill spells Monster gate wants to excavate to grave, but cannot due to no card entering the grave, and just goes direct to banish pile because of dimensional fissure

as someone who plays grass infernoid I appreciate to watch this happen. its so funny to watch swordsoul struggle against the deck that is actually a gigachad list. Highly reccomend it to anyone who wants to just non stop summon creatures with 1-2 mills and OTK's through almost anything.

@Tahmid I'll list my deck as I have it. Its similar to this list but doesnt have as many going second spells or ways to fetch the big mill pay offs, but rather it has more of an infernoid package. Infernoid monsters can NOT be normal summoned or set innately and have to be special summoned from hand or GY (depending on level) by banishing infernoid monsters from hand or GY based on the level you are summoning. Level 1-4 require 1 banish and can only be special summoned from hand. Level 5-8 require 2 banishes and can be special summoned from hand or GY. Level 9 and 10 require 3 banishes and can be special summoned from hand or GY. Another summoning restriction is that the sum of the level and/or ranks of monsters on your field must be 8 or lower. They cannot be special summoned in other ways. Infernoids also have another innate ability to tribute 1 monster you control to banish 1 card from your opponent's GY. The level determines which turn you can use this effect on. Devyaty and Onuncu trade this banish effect for a negate of a given type. Swordsoul is probably the healthiest meta deck yet, they are not as opressive as adamancipator or drytron and they create a great back and forth duel
The only problem is everyone playing it like there is no other deck. I am in platinum and 80% of my opponent using swordsoul

A 100% Winrate deck implies that the game is fundamentally broken and needs a hotfix banlist. I thought we knew this already from Duel Links.
They never cared about the state of the game. Easily one of the worst card games to have ever existed.
Dkayed is just lucky with his opponent bruh swordsoul isn't beatable and most of the time they just lose to negate and handtraps.

Yup. I find the deck to break easily when you negate the GY effects. Suprised that I defeated a swordsoul deck with my Mekk-knight DPE scythe lock
Zoo can easily break the board cause blackout need u to control 2 monster to pop. So zeus can easily dodge blackout

Monster gate, reasoning is at 1. Grass is banned in the TCG so infernoid is RIP in the TCG.

recently started with yugioh. made it into diamond with tribrigade, swordsoul look strong
I had a infernity deck use monster gate while I had dimensional fissure out after he exhausted his other moves to destroy my dimensional fissure, he scooped after watching 6 monster cards get excavated to the banish pile. If you play infernity, be wary of cards that banish like dimensional fissure if you use your mill spells
Monster gate wants to excavate to grave, but cannot due to no card entering the grave, and just goes direct to banish pile because of dimensional fissure

Hey Dkayed idk if you’ll read this comment or not but have you encountered some Japanese players only running a standard deck with only just 5 extra deck? Because they only appear in gold and in platinum and wanted to see if the same situation has happened to you or to anyone else…

The other day I stumbled with a deck like this in gold it completely destroyed me bc I summoned one of my monsters in attack position lol
as someone who plays grass infernoid I appreciate to watch this happen. its so funny to watch swordsoul struggle against the deck that is actually a gigachad list. Highly reccomend it to anyone who wants to just non stop summon creatures with 1-2 mills and OTK's through almost anything.
Can you write a written deck list for the deck please since it seems like you know the cards. There are a lot of cards I simply don't know and can't tell. Thanks anyhow.

@Tahmid I'll list my deck as I have it. Its similar to this list but doesnt have as many going second spells or ways to fetch the big mill pay offs, but rather it has more of an infernoid package.
Infernoid monsters can NOT be normal summoned or set innately and have to be special summoned from hand or GY (depending on level) by banishing infernoid monsters from hand or GY based on the level you are summoning. Level 1-4 require 1 banish and can only be special summoned from hand. Level 5-8 require 2 banishes and can be special summoned from hand or GY. Level 9 and 10 require 3 banishes and can be special summoned from hand or GY. Another summoning restriction is that the sum of the level and/or ranks of monsters on your field must be 8 or lower. They cannot be special summoned in other ways. Infernoids also have another innate ability to tribute 1 monster you control to banish 1 card from your opponent's GY. The level determines which turn you can use this effect on. Devyaty and Onuncu trade this banish effect for a negate of a given type.
Main Deck Monsters:
1x Infernoid Pirmais (level 1) - Spins facedown to deck
3x Infernoid Decatron (level 1) - Foolishes an infernoid then copies the effect and name of the card and adds the level of that monster to itself
3x Infernoid Antra (level 2) - Spins one face up card to hand
3x Infernoid Harmadik (level 3) - Pops 1 monster
3x Infernoid Patrulea (level 4) - Pops 1 spell/trap
2x Infernoid Piaty (level 5) - After dealing damage the opponent discards 1
2x Infernoid Seitsemas (level 6) - After attacking, banish 1 card on the field at the end of combat step
2x Infernoid Attondel (level 8) - After sending an opponents monster to the GY by battle it can attack again
2x Infernoid Devyaty (level 9) - Pops all spell/traps on the field on summon. Instead of banishing you can tribute to to negate 1 monster effect (quick effect) and banish that card
2x Infernoid Onuncu (level 10) - Pops all monsters on the field on summon. Instead of banishing you can tribute to negate 1 spell/trap effect (Quick effect) and banish that card
2x PSY-Framegear Gamma - Hand trap which doesnt stop your Reasoning or Monster gate
1x PSY-Frame Driver - Garnet which comes with the Gamma package
2x Fairy Tail Snow - More special summons from GY to extend
3x Lava Golem - Kaiju which cant be normal summoned

1x Raigeki
1x Foolish Burial
3x Reasoning
3x Monster Gate
1x One for one
3x That Grasses Looks Greener
1x Lightning storm
3x Pot of Prosperity
2x Lair of Darkness
3x Void Vanishment - Discard 1 card add 1 void card to your hand except void vanishment or null and void. Locked into Infernoids. If a monster battles an infernoid monster you can send this card to the GY to banish that card and the infernoid
3x Void Imagination - Infernoid monsters become level 1 but deal half battle damage to the opponent. Fusion card. If opponent controls an extra deck monster and you dont can send up to 6 infernoids from deck as well as material.

Lost to Dino today while playing SS. But this was just protagonist bs from my opponent: he opened Fossil Dig, Misc, Pank, Lighting Storm, Tyranno and something else and I've opened 4 handtraps while going first
U can just ash the grave effect from misc tho or if he play the scrap chimera maybe negate the non dino one.
@@controlenjoyer5873 I've used Ash for Fossil Dig because I was afraid of him taking Misc and making my board basically useless. But he already had it so there was not a lot I could have done.
