I love that one of @JesseDrent first comments was asking if it hurt Gaio when it was done or if it would pull his hair. That boy has such a good heart and cares so much for his horses. It's lovely to see. You got yourself a good one, Matt!
Jesse may not have the best eye for detail, but remember that blindfold test? Jesse got all the horses correct which shows that he uses his sense of smell, touch and hearing effectively, too.
Matt, you are a perfectionist, but added to that, you coming from a modeling background, would give you a sharper eye for detail.
Luckily, the two of you compliment each other.

Gaio's tail looks very beautiful with the extensions. This was a nice surprise for Jesse. So happy to see Gaio together with Andorra and Chase. It is so good for him to have company and living in a small herd.

I admit, I was scared!!! Matt, you take care of every detail in every area (riding, home, decoration, clothes, etc.) and that's great! Gaio's tail wasn't particularly thin but I have to say that the lady who put the extensions did an excellent job! Now Gaio has a champion tail!!! 😂
Jesse didn't notice the change straight away but when he did, he had a good laugh and is delighted with the result.

Gaio has become the most gentle, wonderful horse. I recall when Jesse first got him, a testament to Jesse. The tail fits Gaio perfectly, topping off his beauty and elegance!! That was soooooo cute! I was giggling at Matt leading Jesse to look at Gaio's bum. Then when Jesse noticed how thick his tail was a Matt told him, his reaction was absolutely adorable! Love it!!!

Just want to take a moment to CELEBRATE how happy & relaxed Gaio looks these days & how clear it is that he trusts his close human friends now. A beautiful transformation. The tail glow up is also nice 😊.
The tail hair extensions really do add to Giao’s overall appearance. I thought Chase and Anni looked beautiful as well. It was nice to see Chase. Gaio's tail looks beautiful. I had a mare with a thick tail and keeping it from getting tangled or self made dreadlocks was a job. Pretty for show. Not so easy for pasture life. Enjoyed watching the interactions between you. It is a wonderful gift to have someone share your joy

Too funny Matt, thinking that you both have an eye for detail, it’s just that you have different types. While it may have taken Jesse longer to notice, it was early and he had just woke up, the sun was in his eyes and he was more fixated on the relationship between the horses,😉. I could be wrong but Jesse seems a sensitive, intuitive, big-picture-, even ethereal- type, with Matt more cerebral and in the physical world, so better with attention to detail. Jesse is not a debater, Matt is, and when the topic approaches Jesse just waves it away because it doesn't interest him much, that he missed a detail or two.
