    Of all the videos I've viewed on this topic I would have to say this video without a doubt is THE most professionally done with a direct approach to the main point of the effects of the Behringer RV600 Reverb Machine without all the B/S the other videos feel the need to include. Very well done my friend and I appreciate your time & efforts in providing this very professional video presentation for our enlightenment. Be well my brother.

    Wow, good playing, good clean guitar and amp tone for reference, you showed what fiddling with the controls did on all of the settings, and the description on the side for each effect was helpful. It's sadly pretty rare that a video accomplishes it's clear task so concisely and enjoyably. Good job! Blue Öyster Cult.

    Hi Ryan,long time no speak.Replaced most of my Behringer pedals now tho I still love my em600 and fl600.Was after a comprehensive reverb and after checking this great demo,I was sold.Picked one up from ebay for 25 notes.very happy with it and your notes onscreen are way better than a Behringer "instruction" leaflet.Thanks.Regards J

      Ryan Lutton Had some health probs but recovering now thanks.Yeah I am mad for the Tone city range just now,excellent build sound and price but I still have the 2 600 pedals on the board so I'm thinking,hang on didnt Ryan do a 600 reverb?Pulled up the review and was impressed and as I said your descriptions and demo really help.I was kinda taken aback at the prices they were asking but again ebay did the job.Very happy with the pedal,Im using the EM600 and the RV plus an extra Tone City Micro pedal delay and creating some great ambient tones with them.Thanks again for the heads up,it really is the pedal that completes my board.Read ya soon,tc J

    • @JohnIainMcFarlanewaspfactor
      @JohnIainMcFarlanewaspfactor 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ryan Lutton Definitely!Tone City are out of China,designed by J Wong.The Micro pedals are around 40-50 quid.Solid steel casings,true bypass and so tiny,ideal for a crowded board.Only Andertons are doing them in UK so far.I also have a couple of their dual button dist pedals.Model M,painted gold,with switcheable High gain and Crunch models,obvious Marshall clone,Model B is an obvious nod to Mesa and has a Vintage/Modern select.Both these and the rest of the range have an extra boost switch with its own volume control.They go for around 80 and again are beautifully made.Sound like a salesman here but these pedals are truly quality.Got all mine posted in my collection,and you can get an idea of the sound quality on YT reviews,the best are on Andertons and Rob Chapmans channels.To get back to the delay,it's analog/digital,time level and repeat controls and sounds beautiful.Check em out mate,they seem to be the best kept secret in pedal land.Cheers

    Great demo (also for the EM600)! I've been looking for some FX to add to my synths for ambient, and these Behringer pedals sound great. I read that they can be noisy and even induce noise on the power chain. May I hear your opinion on that?
    Also, have you ever tried any NUX pedals? They also seem to go for the low retail price (and also have stereo/two chanel inputs, which is good for me).
    Thanks, and keep up the good work :)

    • @RyanLutton
      @RyanLutton  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Philip+ thank you :) i have heard similar things.. i havnt actually tried the behringer pedals out on a full pedalboard.. so i havnt really noticed a noise issue with them.. i would guess if you were using them with synths and using their own power supplies they would be fine :) a little noise is expected from spending this little on a pedal i think :) i have heard of NUX but i have never tried them.. which one would you recommend? thanks for watching :)

    • @Philipplus
      @Philipplus 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Ryan Lutton I guess you're right... perhaps some people may be complaining a little too much and not considering the price of this gear. Since I don't play live, a little bit of noise can be corrected in post production.
      For what I see on youtube, the Time Core and Mod Core appear to the the most popular, as well as the more expensive Loop Core (which I believe is a BOSS RC-3 clone).

      +Ryan Lutton Not true bypass. Everyl Behringer stompbox like the RV600 is buffered. Not a great one in this case.. i tested mine in a true bypass looper and it killed some of my lows AND highs when off. Like some weird middy coloration. Really good sounds in this box nonetheless.

      Ryan Lutton Someone has done a comparison but the audio quality was so bad it was hard to tell the difference. Also, they didn't explain that the Time knob on the DR600 was equivalent to the decay on the RV600.

    awesome effects and low price, not crazy about it being plastic though. ill put rubber padding on it so it'll last longer on my board.

    • @RyanLutton
      @RyanLutton  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      the plastic is a downside! they are surprisingly strong though :) I wondered about looking into rehousing them.. but its probably not worth the extra cost.. rubber padding sounds like a good idea tho! thanks for the comment :)

    • @stevesmith3990
      @stevesmith3990 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Having had one of these for a while now the main problem is the complete lack of bypass, the controls affect the sound even when switched off, and large volume drop too. I assume they're all like it?

    Can you get a reverse reverb out of this pedal? Similar to MBV?

    • @RyanLutton
      @RyanLutton  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      you cant with this pedal.. you can with the Marshall Reflector RF-1.. I think those are pretty cheap! there is a demo of it on my channel if you're interested :)

    • @maotemplar
      @maotemplar 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Ryan Lutton yeah, the digitech digiverb has a reverse rev. too and is almost cheap as the rv600. Anyway this behringer pedal serie has some hidden treasures that people doesnt know. The harmonist has a unbelievable tracking speed and quality, the only best one is the newest digitech Whammy, but it costs 8 times more than the behringer :)

    Which mode would you say is the most similar to a boss rv5 modulation?

    • @RyanLutton
      @RyanLutton  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This pedal doesn't have a modulated setting.. so I would say either Hall or Cave as you can create lush reverbs out of them :) I'd recommend checking out the Behringer DR600 Digital Reverb as that is a clone of the Boss RV-5 and has a Modulate setting! Hope this helps

    • @mrfruity21
      @mrfruity21 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ryan Lutton Thanks a ton! I have a RV-5, but I was looking for a cheaper alternative for a second setup I will have at my cabin so I don't have to lug all my gear around. How does the mod setting hold up to the RV-5?

    • @RyanLutton
      @RyanLutton  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      ah i see! the DR600 is a good choice as an alternative.. it does sound cheaper in my opinion but i cant think of anything else with a mod reverb that is that cheap! th-cam.com/video/AR5enytCqbc/w-d-xo.html thats my video comparing the two :)

      I use an echo machine (em600) for live vocals, only drawback is that it makes your signal a bit weaker (nothing that can't be fixed in the mixer)
