This is (potentially :)) the beginning of a new series for the channel. :) I was most wonderfully inspired by @coloredbymaia6476 and @doodlerobot42 to try out a "colouring update" video type of thing. Most recently, @ColouringwithK and @amberlesilencia3728 have also posted colouring update types of videos and, of course, there are many awesome TH-cam colourists out there who post great "WIP and chat" types of videos, as well. This type of video format is great for when you have shorter bits of video that wouldn't necessarily be enough for a full video on their own but you'd still like to share them. Thank you so much to both Maia and Doodle for the inspiration and for so enthusiastically and graciously letting me borrow their idea!
Come on in and see what kinds of colouring odds & ends we talk about today!
Thank you for watching! Keep calm and colour on! :)

I love the name of this series - odds and ends perfectly sums up what you’re doing! I really resonated with you at the start of the video as I’ve been on TH-cam for only a couple of weeks now and I am amazed by the amount of love and supportive comments I’ve got from everyone here - it fills my heart with so much joy 🥰
So glad you liked it! And yay for the wonderful colouring community here on TH-cam! :)
I love these kind of series! It gives us the opportunity to share a little bit of coloring and other stuff, without, that it must be a complete color along. And thank you so much for the mention! 😘💕
So glad you liked it and thank you for the inspiration! :)
Ah, Laurentians / Laurentiens. How that brings me back. And the vinyl pouch. That was back in the 70s. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
You're welcome - glad you enjoyed it! :)
Hello Connie Love this Oods and ends series. Lovely. 💕💕
So glad you like it! :)
Hi Connie lovely video hun congratulations on 6 months for having your wonderful content thank you for sharing ❤❤❤😊😊😊xxxx
Thank you so much 🤗
I really love the update videos everyone’s been doing, and this one definitely fit the bill. I was excited when I saw the Laurentian pencil crayons! Fellow Canadian here, you brought me back to my childhood. I went to a craft sale back in 2022 and there was a guy there selling Manitoban/Canadian memorabilia, and he had a pencil case that he had made with the imprint of Laurentian packaging. Not that I needed it, but I wish I would have bought it for nostalgia’s sake.
That pencil case would have been fun! :) And I'm glad you enjoyed the walk down memory lane!
Love the chatty type of videos, I’m looking forward to the next one
So glad you liked it! :)
I’m from Canada also, and I remember having Laurentien pencil crayons! Fun video, thank you!
Glad you liked it - and you're welcome! :)
Fellow 🇨🇦 here and YES I have Laurentian pencil crayons still
A fun blast from our past! :)
I think these videos are going to be fun!
Me, too! :)
Hi Connie! Love this type of video! Question for you, how do you think the Supra and Aquarelle compare to the Albrecht Durer? And thanks for the Laurentien throwback!
Glad you liked the throwback! :)
I think the Museum Aquarelle pencils are the most pigmented of the three and probably dissolve the best, as well. Having said that, though, the ADs and the Supracolors are so close that I'm really just being super fussy. :) I think any of those three pencil lines are gorgeous, high quality pencils.
@@colouringchemist thank you! I appreciate the insight!
Hi Connie, very enjoyable video. I have the 120 supracolors and I really like them, how do you compare the museum aquarells to them, are they worth the money? 😊
Glad you liked it! :)
I think the Museum Aquarelle pencils might be a bit more pigmented and might dissolve a bit better but really - I'm just splitting hairs. :) The Supracolor line has some lovely colours that aren't available in the MA line (probably because the pigments used aren't lightfast) so if you have the Supracolor pencils, you probably don't need the MA pencils. :)
@@colouringchemist there’s no such thing as need!!! I want them!!! 😂

How do you store your pitt pens? I don't like the pencil cases with the big elastic bands, as they cover the name/number of the pen, but pencil cases with single loops are probably too small to hold them?
I just now published two videos on all things Pitt Pen. :) In Part 1, I show how I store them - here's a link to that video: th-cam.com/video/mFJMrjQvzYk/w-d-xo.html Hope that helps!
@@colouringchemist ohhhh, that's great, thanks! I really under-use my pitt pens and they will help a lot!
@@mizzy_chiara You're welcome! Enjoy! :)
