I've been three times in Pattaya, 2018, 2020 and last month. I've always booked Soi 5 hotels, where you don't have to worry about rain. But this time, during my last night I went to bars around Soi Made in Thailand and could "touch" the flooded for the second time in my live. (First was in Old Havana in 2001, but not so deep). Spectacular., of course i had to go by taxi to the hotel. The Bar Complex looks very good, I will try it during my next holidays in Pattaya, the single man's paradise.
I think we might be another 2 years or more away from fixing the problem, Soi Buakhao area and 3rd road are the worst affected. They started the drains along beach road before covid and now have moved to 2nd road.

I think it is going to be very popular come the high season. The Massaman in the Prajanban Looked more like the Massaman I used to get when I was up in Chiang Mai. Generally, Massaman curry doesn't have coconut in it, it isn't grown up in the North, although you can still get it there. Either way, it looked delicious. Neil.
definitely a key opinion leader on pattaya, i hope the locals authority do form a sort of councils for all the pattaya youtubers to be in due to their massive contributions to tourism advertising. The council tho, they can collectively address and tackled issues like never ending flood.
Interesting observation on your flu/cold/COVID??? diagnosis and increased frequency. BTW you are not the only one! This was one of the first criticisms for trying to develop and administer vaccines DURING an outbreak. Normally, for obvious reasons, (if you're educated in the biological sciences) the administration of any vaccine was in preparation to what was expected to be the next strain in the upcoming wave and if you waited until the wave was upon you, it was usually discouraged to try to vaccinate because of the selective pressure the vaccine may place on the current strain to mutate and develop resistance to that particular vaccine supply. That's also why you would NEVER vaccinate anyone with an active infection, they would literally become a breading ground for resistant strain(s) if an absolute, 100% viral kill was not achieved during that exposure. Fortunately, it appears we're lucky in that the virulence and morbidity of what ever seems to be going round is reduced while transmissibility seems to be increasing. Anyway, I did not take a vaccine for 30 years and although I get some variation frequently my immune system fights back and it's gone within 48hrs.

I assume with the food comparison you are eating and judging the sauce and not the meat. As how could lump a steak vs Chicken dish in the same category.
Only jabbed people seem to be getting Cov again and again in short succession. Wish I was in Thailand right now, nightlife and just the general peace in the UK is fooked.
I am not jabbed and it is usually only a short period I get sick, not full blown head cold just the ache, high temp and dizziness but I recover fast. Bare in mind I am always around people many hundreds from around the world. So I think my immune system is working and fighting back naturally.

We went last night 1 week later and a huge improvement with 6 bars now open and about 100 customers. 👍
The old FROG BAR was a legend !!! And the new complex looks like it has enormous potential !!! 👍💪

The flooding is being fixed and I think already 3 years into a 5 year completion project but probably a year behind due to covid.

The thing is though 3 of these times only 24 to 48 hours sick and like now not even a runny nose so I'd say my immune system is fighting it off.

I think they are just variations of the virus splintering off and the immune system realises and kicks in.
