  • My Realistic 6am Morning Routine | healthy + productive habits | How to become THAT girl!
    Hi everyone,
    How are you doing? I am currently recovering from a Coachella weekend and still pretty tired.
    So I have some good news and bad news for today. The bad news is that I do not have a Coachella vlog ready. I felt so sick on Saturday during the day that I wasn't able to vlog. I was trying to navigate a lot of moving parts and unfortunately I wasn't able to get all the footage I wanted! The good news is, I have a new morning routine for you which is one of my favorites! For some reason I love love watching other people routines as well to get inspiration and honestly they are just so relaxing.
    Mornings are so important for your healthy lifestyle because it sets up you for the rest of the day. I always feel when I rush trough my morning routine , skip steps I don't feel the same. Do you recognize this feeling? What is something that makes you feel so good that you can't skip it in the morning?
    So what does it really mean to become THAT GIRL ? Honestly its just the best version of yourself. And this is something we all girls should work on every single day. Not just your physical health but also your mental health!
    I have noticed my mental health has made some big improvements since we got Hudson!! I am so in love with him and he brings so much joy into our life. You will probably see him more around in upcoming videos!

    Your kitchen is beautiful! Always motivating having a clean space that you truly look forward to spending time in/cooking healthful and homemade delicious meals! An idea for a video could be a fridge/freezer organization tour- explaining what items and why you like to store In both areas of the fridge/freezer

    For my dry skin pals: skip washing your face in the morning! I only wash my face after a workout and/or at night, and it's completely changed the clarity + texture of my skin. Highly recommend skipping the morning face wash if your skin leans on the dry/sensitive side. Just wanted to throw that out there because it's worked well for me :)

      Agree! I live in a place where we need AC running almost 24/7 and that really dehydrated the skin too so I tend to not washing my face twice a day to avoid stripping all the moisture as well and it really works. x

      omg whenever I tell people I only wash my face at night/ once a day they look at me like im crazy! but with dry skin and eczema it helps so much. glad to know someone else does the same :)

    Love this! With my skincare, if I workout at home I won't do my skincare until after my workout. If I go to the gym, I will splash my face with water and put some spf on then when I get home I will do my full skincare routine including cleanser etc. Mainly because I am acne prone and despite having completed a course of roaccutane im very conscious of preventing breakouts!

    Great video! You are so productive, doing all of that in 3 hours !! I wish I can build up that mental positive energy you have bcuz I know it makes the whole difference. If you have any tips on how to build mental strength I’m up for it!     Hi Sanne. You can use also a cool pad (from drugstore) for face cooling. I like that, as the surface is soft and big. Also nice for headache. And of course for cooling insuries. 😉

    things left to hotel rooms are usually kept some time for guests to reclaim
    them. im sure your dairy is
    still in the hotel, call them. im pretty sure the cleaning lady did not throw your daybook away, and she did not go through it either:)). smaller things such as your journal can be sent to guests via mail also.

    Hoi Sanne, sinds een paar maanden heb ik ook een hondenmaatje in mijn leven (wat een verrijking! :)) Ook haar pootjes maak ik met een handdoekje schoon na het wandelen. Niet haar favo activiteit. Ik heb een vaste plek waar ik dat doe, waar ik een matje heb neergelegd met het handdoekje. Door het matje weet Dotty (mijn hond) waar ze verwacht wordt plaats te nemen en dan laat ik haar zitten en blijven zitten. Een beloning dmv een compliment, of iets lekkers kan jouw hond helpen deze activiteit meer te waarderen (en wellicht ook het matje zoals bij mijn hond).     I just love how good you are at telling your routine without I am being overwhelmed because it is too difficult. I am a single mom of twins and I do not have a lot of time for myself, but the way you show your routine makes me think that I can❤️🙏

    i usually do my skin care after working out, if my skin feels too dry i apply some serum and that’s pretty much it

    I put cream on twice before and after I workout and I also do sunscreen twice when I run outside which I haven't done in a long time.

    I usually do my skincare after my workout (not before and after) just because I notice it drying out if I do the full routine more than twice a day!

      Same! I don’t really go outside before my workouts so I just splash with cold water, use the Laneige mist for a little moisture and then do my skincare after.

    Thank you for sharing a bit about your workout routine. Perhaps you can do a longer video about? I am curious about what type of weight training you do. I would like to build lean muscles and not get bulky. Do you use lower weights for this with more preps, or what is your tip for this? Do you think pilates works better on a reformer or is without just as effective (no reformer classes where I live unfortunately, but I think adding some resistance could be more effective)
