I really love that you've made the projects in the books you've reviewed and can give hints and tips about the patterns. Happy I've found your channel 😊
It’s like this is the channel I’ve been looking for my whole life and TH-cam finally decided to show it to me (I’ve literally searched PicaPau crochet review before). My fave is the panda!
Glad you found my channel and liked this review! I too searched for reviews before I bought my books but couldn't find much so decided to do my own 🧶I'll definitely have more up once I complete all the patterns 😊
Amazing review of Animal Friends of Pica Pau. I can’t believe you made all of them. I have all 3 of her books and have made quite a few of the patterns. Again, great review. 😊
T his is such a cool idea! Precious little finished pieces! I'm currently working on the spider monkey from pica pau 2. Would love to see more pica pau reviews from you!!!!!!
Thank you! 😊 I LOVE the Pica Pau patterns, they're all so cute! I have the other 2 books as well so will definitely have reviews up once I make them all 🧶
For color changes: I found that tying off your two colors a few times and cutting off the ends at every row/ color change helps with the color bleeding through when doing high contrast projects. It takes longer than just keeping your yarn going on the wrong side of your project but... For some projects it's worth it
Your critters are beautiful. Great to see them ‘live’. I’ve had these 3 books on my shopping list and you have convinced me to give them a try! Thank you!
Hey Mads, just out of curiosity, how long did it take you to make all the patterns from the first book? I'm on a mission to create all the critters from the book. So far, I've made the caiman and donkey and currently working on the panda. @GreyAndCrochet
@@julieanderson4881 I drop it and just pick it back up when I need it, ensuring there's enough slack so it's not pulling on the piece. The beauty of amigurumi is that no one will ever see the mess within 🤪
Very impressive crochet work! Appreciate your thoughtful critique of execution vs. expectations. This is a treasured video. Thank you…. ❤❤❤
Thank you! 😊 Glad you enjoyed the review and my creations 🧶

Thanks for the tip! I'm going to try that next time I work with white 🧶

@@arielcruz10987 Probably half a year haha, but I'm a slow crocheter and took some breaks in between to make things from other books.
I just got these books and I have made Pedro, Hans, and Murray! So much fun so far
@@EllieRocksAtLife Yay! Have fun with it 🧶 definitely one of my fav books so far
I'm so proud of you for doing EVERY pattern!! And doing such a great job ❤Rockstar!💫

Hi Mads 🤗 Fantastic book review! All your toys are perfect! I love their little clothes, especially the donkey’s poncho! 🥰🧶🤩

Thank you so much 😊 they were fun to make 🧶
What a great review and your work is beautiful. Thanks.
Thanks so much 🤗 Glad you enjoyed the review 🧶
Just found you today. You sound kinda Australian sometimes ?? There's not many of us around.
Love all your creations ❤
@@lisagardiner7799 I'm from Melbourne ☺️ Thank you 🥰
@@GreyAndCrochet me too! SE suburbs 🥰
I’ve learned to slip stitch 2 times and chain one then on next round the colour change is much less noticeable.
I'll have to try that 🧶😊
hi! I was just wondering, is the book written in us or uk terms? Would love an answer, thank you beforehand❤❤
Hi, Happy Wednesday ☺️ it's written in US terms.
How do you do the color changes?
I pull through the new colour on my last yarn over ☺️
@@GreyAndCrochet do you carry the old color with? Or drop it ?
