You can overcome the problem of missing the start/stop button by changing the driving mode to individual and adjust the engine setting to Sport. Of course the same will happen if you choose sport or sport plus modes. Whenever the engine is set up tp sport in any of the driving modes (except the comfort one), it won't be shut off when you brake in junctions or traffic light. That is how I overcame this problem in my BMW. Of course you will need to re-select the driving mood (sport, sport plus or individual) everytime you turn the ignition off then on. To keep the car to last selected driving mood by default (even when you turn it off), you will need to do coding for this feature (of course not to ask the dealer to do it as they will refuse doing such thing claiming that it will void the warranty but actually it wont't as coding just shows off the hidden features of the BMW cars and doesn't change the system)
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽Top quality work by your team as always ... You want satin PPF because paint damage repair on a satin car is going to be extra expensive ... You should see a auto stop/start button on the main console ... But to turn it off permanently will be a coding software job... I don't understand why BMW don't listen to the majority of their car customer dislikes on user function.
Correct, but this vehicle isn't a 50e, it's the 30d, sorry if I did not make that clear. The fuel consumption in the 50e full hybrid is actually much worse than this, I was averaging 27mpg when I tried 1. Thanks for watching.
People banging on about the “complexity” of iDrive must have the IQ of a four year old. Don’t change the temperature while you’re in motion, just wait for a red light. Other than that, decent video.
Love the satin finish ppf. Very nice but understated.
Cheers mate

Thanks for the tip I'll give it a try.

Thanks for watching mate. Manufacturers seem to want to change things for the sake of changing, and not actually what customers want which is nuts. Ha
How did you install the lip spoiler on the front bumper did you your 3m tape or screws ?
it's a petrol hybrid engine in the 50e, not diesel. The diesel engines are mild hybrids.

Are the side skirts available from bmw or are they available anywhere else?
Car looks great 👍🏼
Hi, thanks for watching! They aren't available from BMW, we sourced from CT Carbon and the product code was SKU: CT144.
Thanks mate
I contacted CT carbon and they said it won’t fit the 2024 model 😅
@@crystalclearhygiene3767 Sorry for late reply mate, I've triple checked and the side skirts are the same on both models. Fit our car perfectly.
Whre you bought kit ?
