Thanks for making this video, this is an underrated setup, and it makes a lot of sense in terms of value, compactness, and blade clearance before we even get into the handle design. Much better than e.g. Wiha. Just ordered the 220W to get my feet wet. I'll keep an eye out for shanks that might fit just right.
Thanks, a lot of great ideas. That SATA set is nice and compact. DeWalt has similar compact bit setups that I use and like for their compactness (DWAX200 and DWAX100).
I have several Vessel drivers and I like the handle design. They would be perfect if they weren't set up for Japanese standard bits. With one of my handles if you use a typical bit you'd buy in the us- Wera, Wiha, Dewalt, Milwaukee....etc.... the bit will get stuck in the driver and require pliers to pull it out. If you actually invest in the Vessel bits then you wont have that problem, but otherwise you sort of have to consider it to be a proprietary bit system unless you are already invested in Japanese bits.
I bought the Broppe 6in slotted bits for my kit works great with my vessel 220 handle Love these bits . I tried to find long 6in jis bits thin made by this company but no luck.
Cool. Koken makes a spinner handle with a 1/4" inch square drive with wobble. If you put a 1/4" square to 1/4" hex adapter on it you can run bits and have the wobble feature which is nice.
Been a fan of Vessel products for years, I have had the Flat Plate Ratchet for a handful of years and love it. Great to see other fantastic options from them, probably going to order the Tang Thru handle here soon. Thanks for showcasing these handles.
@@justfreythings3109 Idk if your into ratcheting, But there is another Brand called Anex and it has really good tolerances for a ratcheting driver and it has a slightly shorter profile maybe about 1/4' shorter in length.I doesn't pop out like the Vessel ratcheting versions. Only negative ive really seen so far is that it seems like the bit insert is plastic so maybe if you really need to torque something im not sure how it would hold up.
Get a Husky from Home Depot. Does the job. Tools are suppose to work for you, you’re not suppose to work for them. Grown ass man with fancy expensive tools reminds me of high maintenance women with Prada bags. I’ve been in the trade for decades and Klein screwdrivers are top notch.
