    Due to popular demand - links to the colours/mediums I use for my paintings are now in the description box.

    A fantastic job, a bit like painting clouds I suppose. What are you painting on? it didn't look like a canvass surface, thanks.

      Thanks a lot :-))) I used a MDF plate for this painting. You should be able to get them on Amazon already primed with some white colour (I get mine from a local shop but Amazon should also work fine).

    This picture is really spectacular and out of some distance looking like a photo (obviously your intention ;-). Which kind of oil paints did you use especially for this project? I´m planning to paint a scene from the film "20.000 leagues under the sea" (the Nautilus running with high speed through some waves) in stormy weather.

    • @brennerfineart
      @brennerfineart  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you :-))) Yes, this was indeed my intention to let it look highly realistic. I love to paint in a realistic way but I would not consider myself to be a photorealist. I lack the patience for the extreme details that those guys put into each painting ;-))) I am using here Winsor&Newton water mixable oils, I don`t want to use any harsh medium any more. All those thinners are more or less cancerogen and with the water mixable oils I can avoid them completely.

    Hello sir. Your painting was amazing. Superb👍.can i use normal art book for painting? It gives a final result are best?

    • @brennerfineart
      @brennerfineart  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you :-))) it depends upon what colour you are using and what kind of material you want to paint on - what exactly do you mean with "art book"? Is it paper?

      Hi, I`m using here a wide variety of brushes - the flats (synthetic and organic) range from size 6 to 18. And the detail brushes (round ones, I actually don`t know of synthetic or organic) range from 0 to 3/0 :-)))

    Why do most artists use blue colour alot 😂 like here I use alot of blues and they are the one to finish up quickly

    • @brennerfineart
      @brennerfineart  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That`s really a good question :-)))) I think lots of things in nature have a bluish tint to it - the air (distant mountains e.g. become more blue), water - a colour used very often by nature :-)))

      I`m sorry that this mistake of uploading the long version caused some confusion. The long version that you saw is actually the one I offer on my patreon, this version here is the "lightweight", the shorter one. I accidentially set the long version to free access - and that is not fair for my patreons that pay every month to get exclusive content that is not available on my TH-cam channel. I really do like to offer the videos here and I am really happy that people like them. But I also have to think about building up my art business, making at least some money so that I can start to reduce my day job to do more TH-cam videos, more tutorials, one on one coaching etc. My goal is to do art as my day job/full time one day - and that means I have to start building an income with my art. I truly hope that you will understand that and that you will not turn away - the videos that I do show a lot of the process that goes into the paintings and with practice you will be able to paint like that, this really is no wizardry, it`s just having patience and getting better and better over time :-)))

      In case you missed my answer on the other video you commented on:
      People click away when I not speed up the videos...I tried it in my very early videos (check them out, they are still available on my channel) and they did horrible...people get bored VERY quick and click away...and that kept my channel small...when I cut the videos down to 10-15 minutes wth time lapse only THEN I saw real growth.
