I'm Italian and... I can feel it. That day I was 14... and I remember the delusion and the frustration, but also the epic effort to drive the match to the last penalty even many injuries and problems. Great fighters 'till the last second💕. We won the World Cup 12 years later btw.
Oh man! I am not even Italian and that match was my first football trauma. I was 9, and in that world cup I knew only 2 players, Romario and Roberto Baggio as they met in the finals I had to pick a side and it was pretty easy Brasil is thousends of kilometers away and Italy is just 100 km away (I am from Tunisia btw) so it’s closer then I am gonna support Roberto Baggio for the performance he had. And that look he had after he missed the penalty shot is still haunting me man. It’s a shame that he carried the whole team and then it ended up this way.
I was dating a girl in China in 2006 and we talked about the World Cup and both of us were rooting for Italy. I was American and she was Chinese so neither one of us had a dog in the fight.
I actually saw that game in '94 when I was stationed in Panama. Saw it on SCN in the Company rec room. Both teams were very well matched! It all came down to penalties, which gave Brazil the win. Many cases of beer were drunk that day!
This song from Nanowar of Steel is my favorite song they have done so far. This song sounds so much like a Sabaton Song and that made me love this song a lot. Sabaton is one of my favorite Metal Bands out there. I love how at the end of the video the singing just got a lot more intense then it was throughout the whole music video.

funny enough he US women Soccer team is one of the best and most successful women national teams in the history of the sport ... and the best part is that they always fight for equal pay even though they get over 20% (i heard they will pump that up even higher) of the revenue, where on the other hand all the male national teams only get about 7% ....
I don't know how much you know of the band Civil War, but the open vers is 100% sung in there style. As a bit of history Civil War was orginial made up of ex-Sabaton members. The band memebers still have good relations with them as the ex-Sabaton memebers returned for a anniversy show and played alongside the current line up, on both main stages at the same time at Wacken 2021. Hi Jen I just saw your video on planet fitness, do they really have cracks in doors on Planet Fitness doors? I have never seen anything like that on any gym door. Since when do they have cracks on gym doors and if so why would they even have them anyway?
