This is the problem with releasing the god of all Pokémon before the end of the Pokémon series because later Pokémon need to be stronger to show some kind of progression. Even Mega Rayquaza being stronger then Arceus makes no sense.
This is one of the best themes in US/UM. The chaotic, rampant nature of the drums and synth, organs bellowing out notes, as if the game is literally screaming in your face, “Things have changed, this is now life or death.” And then, barely audible over the chaos, you can almost make out the beginning notes to Ultra Necrozma. It’s ALMOST there, but it’s like something is still hindering it, much like the state Necrozma is in when we battle him here.

Ender Menon Nah Arceus is intentionally handicapped to make him beatable/playable because this is a game after all. Arceus in real pokemon world can mop the floor with this puny piece of glass. Even in the game Arceus is almost as good as mega Rayquaza，and I dont see Necrozma being better than mega Requaza.

I love how this is it's theme when it's lacking light and pretty much out of it's mind needing to get it and then when it's ultra necrozma and it properly has light back, the theme itself is more calm and majestic, and the pokemon itself is calmer too
Hmmm If you're counting like that then Kyurem also has 2 themes. It has it's own variation of the Tao Trio theme and the Black/White Kyurem theme as well.

fr, ultra necrozma's theme is cool and all but I feel as if I'm one of the only few handful of people to prefer it's dusk mane/dawn wings theme over it, it's one of the only few soundtracks in pokemon that I could describe as "intimidating" or "terrifying" and I love it

I personally believe that this is the best legendary battle theme. I do love the Ultra one as well, plus a plenty of the others Gen 4 onwards, but I just absolutely love the absolute haphazardness of this tune, how extreme it is because it sounds completely ridiculous. I wish it wasn’t so underrated by the Pokemon community.
I've noticed that when Game Freak make the last game on a system, they go all the way. First Was BW2, which are truly awesome, and then Ultra Sun and Moon for 3ds, which are awesome too.

I love how compressed some parts of the sound are. This song is OVERFLOWING with power just like Necrozma. The violent drum kicks and the screeches in between each melodic phrase. This song PERFECTLY represents Ultra Necrozma. It is so full of light that it literally cannot control its power. It seeked for so long for light, but once it got it, it got WAY TOO MUCH.
Love how it feels like something is missing in this song. It genuinely reflects how Necrozma feels, desperately seeking to fill the void within but never feeling complete. That is until it becomes Ultra Necrozma, then the song sounds complete.
I love how the leitmotiv of the original battle theme of the Light Trio sounds in the so subtle background since 0:38,like their essence has not been lost

Solgaleo - the light of day Lunala - the light of night Necrozma - the vast void between those insignificant momentary flashes This track sounds like a hungering void, like a black hole violently consuming everything in its wake. Normally, with an 'atmospheric' track, you get something ethereal, something that feels like the foundation for something to lay upon. With Necrozma (a black hole), the structure of melody is shredded, and all that's left is purest destruction.
Man, Necrozma is so cool, it really sucks how box legendaries are never really mentioned or seem to have an impact outside of their box titles, like it makes sense for something like Johto's dogs & the Legendary Birds, but this guy is a light-eating tyrannical nightmare that consumed the light of an entire universe, how is this not a bigger deal?? I mean, Necrozma is fucking infuriated and pissed off when you first encounter it at the Altar of the Sunne/Altar of the Moone, so this makes sense. Which, this thing isn't gonna be pissed for long, cuz when you encounter it *again* at Mount Lanakila, it has a catch rate of 255 (other Pokémon with a 255 catch rate, being: Pidgey, Budew, Magikarp), but despite the fact that you waste a Master Ball to catch this thing when it has a 255 catch, it's still badass to have it housed in a master ball lol

fr, ultra necrozma's theme is cool and all but I feel as if I'm one of the only few handful of people to prefer it's dusk mane/dawn wings theme over it, it's one of the only few soundtracks in pokemon that I could describe as "intimidating" or "terrifying" and I love it

Just realised that, in certain points, you can very, and i mean it when i say VERY FAINTLY hear ultra necrozma's theme.
I personally believe that this is the best legendary battle theme. I do love the Ultra one as well, plus a plenty of the others Gen 4 onwards, but I just absolutely love the absolute haphazardness of this tune, how extreme it is because it sounds completely ridiculous. I wish it wasn’t so underrated by the Pokemon community.

I've noticed that when Game Freak make the last game on a system, they go all the way. First Was BW2, which are truly awesome, and then Ultra Sun and Moon for 3ds, which are awesome too.

I love how compressed some parts of the sound are. This song is OVERFLOWING with power just like Necrozma. The violent drum kicks and the screeches in between each melodic phrase. This song PERFECTLY represents Ultra Necrozma. It is so full of light that it literally cannot control its power. It seeked for so long for light, but once it got it, it got WAY TOO MUCH.
Those first few seconds felt like a Close Combat to the face
Love how it feels like something is missing in this song. It genuinely reflects how Necrozma feels, desperately seeking to fill the void within but never feeling complete. That is until it becomes Ultra Necrozma, then the song sounds complete.

I honestly heard Gen 4 Arceus' theme more than anything here.
Trust me, the subtle beat of gen 6 is still in there. If you listen closely enough to the more subtle sounding parts, you will hear the beat from X and Y.

Well, In Sun and Moon, it has the same battle music as Solgaleo and Lunala (who ARE Ultra Beasts, I mean is stated in the freaking game that Cosmog, the thing that they evolved from, is an Ultra Beast), its base stats and the level at which it learns moves are prime numbers, a pattern that all Ultra Beasts share, its cry has the same sound effect that every other Ultra Beasts have, and yeah, the Pokédex says that it's reminiscent of an Ultra Beast (in French, it is said that it is an Ultra Beast that came to Earth a long time ago).

Nabuchodonosor McGalapàtràmanski and plus, during ultra sun and ultra moon, IT COMES OUT OF A FREAKING ULTRA WORMHOLE DURING THE STORY AND THEN FUSES WITH EITHER SOLGALEO OR LUNALA, WHICH 100% ARE ULTRA BEASTS!!! So yeah Necrozma is UB 100% confirmed.

This track sounds like a hungering void, like a black hole violently consuming everything in its wake. Normally, with an 'atmospheric' track, you get something ethereal, something that feels like the foundation for something to lay upon. With Necrozma (a black hole), the structure of melody is shredded, and all that's left is purest destruction.

Man, Necrozma is so cool, it really sucks how box legendaries are never really mentioned or seem to have an impact outside of their box titles, like it makes sense for something like Johto's dogs & the Legendary Birds, but this guy is a light-eating tyrannical nightmare that consumed the light of an entire universe, how is this not a bigger deal?? Like it got solved eventually but Alola essentially was the first grounds for proving parallel universe theory..
