For my first playthrough of Ultra Sun, I'd prepped all game for fighting Ultra Necrozma - got the cheese strats with Zoroark set up.
I had nothing for Totem Ribombee and was _genuinely terrified_ going into the fairy trial.
(It went surprisingly smoothly, but... still.)

Isn't it a rule in nuzlockes to never have a pokemon above the levels of the upcoming gym leader? There is no difficulty in a nuzlocke if you go to the third gym with a level 40 starter pokemon

I don't know why, but I compare Necrozma and Ultra necrozma to Lucifer.
Considering that U. N. Should be the incarnation of light, you should know that Lucifer was the most beautiful of angels, and after the ribellion, he was pushed away in the depths of the earth, with this losing all his "light".
A bit the same with Necrozma, huh?
So Ultra Necrozma should kinda be Lucifer trying to require his original, splendid form, so desperately. This is why the notes of the song seem so malinconic, more than mighty.

Just throwing it out there, but Lucifer was among the highest order of angels before his fall: the Seraphim, or "Burning ones", six winged angels eternally aflame with light. If you count the tiny wings on its head, Ultra Necrozma has six wings, and is also burning with light.
This fight is THE MOST anime thing in the series and I love it

I beat it in 2 turns... after the 20 resets I was praying for quick claw to activate.
I literally just one-shotted it with a level 59 Sylveon that knew moonblast-???

Fun Fact: In the Japanese versions of Pokémon USUM, Necrozma's Z-Move is known as "Heaven Scorching Light Of Destruction"!

I cheesed ultra necrozma. I had a trevenent that knew destiny bond and necrozma would one shot my trevenent. But there was a problem necrozma out speeds my trevenent. So I had my trevenent hold a quick claw and soft reset until the quick claw activated and get off a destiny bond. It was pretty funny

I had a topsy turvy focus sash Malamar just turn all his +2's into -2's, it worked on literally every totem lol.
I had a Ttar live a smart strike above 50% hp and 2 crunches later it fell

Yes, I had all 3 starters, Magnezone, Butterfree, and Malamar and still died about 10 times
Dude I gave myself latias, xernias,Kyogre, deoxys, Lugia, and one other I forgot and they were all in the all nearing level 100 and nevrozma sweeped right through them, even xernias was ev trainded

I had my malamar tank the 1st hit and use topsy turvy to reverse the stat boosts that necrozma gets at the start of the fight, and then just blasted through the fight

Eggy I got lazy and just feed it a rainbow bean and kept resetting the game until I tanked the hit

How to beat this beast of a Pokémon, get a rattata with endeavor and a focus sash, let necrozma hit it and use endeavor, quick attack it and dead, or toxic stall with a high defense Pokémon such as a steel type or Blastoise
or maybe just get lucky and put up a Pokémon for a legendary and get it and teach it shadow ball with the ghostium Z
That's legit next level strats. If I hadn't put so much time into USUM i'd restart it just to try this.
There also is the curse mimikyu strat if you don't have a focus sash but still want to sweep with a level 1 team
No, LITERALLY JUST USE A LEVEL 59 SYLVEON WITH MOONBLAST WITHOUT BOOSTS, I DID IT ON MY FIRST PLAYTHROUGH AND IT WORKED FOR ME.
Cool strats, I just spammed Meteor Mash and revive when needed.

This fight wasn’t too bad for me, but only because I had a level 60 Mimikyu with shadow claw.
Wasn't too difficult for me either. I had a Scrafty with Payback which ended up OHKOing Ultra Necrozma because it outsped.
Edit: Actually, my Scrafty was over level, too, so that more than likely helped.
@@-beanhead_blobbles-3891 Oh you’re over leveled? I had gotten a level 100 Raikou with a code and then taught it Shadow Ball which annihilated Necrozma.
@@necrozma5639 Scrafty wasn’t SUPER overleveled, but definitely overleveled for that part of the game. (Mainly because it was one of my personal favorites. ;-;) My team was between mid and late 60’s while Scrafty was in the late 70’s
Gotta admit that Scrafty pretty much carried me through the game. It being one of my personal favorites made me overlevel it, and if Scrafty had the type advantage, it was pretty much always an OHKO.
Same, tho Mine had had Play Rough and Shadow Sneak instead of claw

at like 0:27 if you have it relatively loud there is a sound that sounds like discord noise and it tricked me

The way I beat it was.
I had primarina and two dark types that being alolan muk and krookodile.
After losing to this thing once I had a plan. First I made it run out of photon geysers(because it destroyed primarina xd). Then I max revived primarina and healed it until un ran out of smart strike and power gem. After an annoyingly large amount of time it finally ran out and was only left with dragon pulse and I 2hko it with moonblast. Definitely the craziest battle of my whole life
(so I had to hear this for like half an hour that's why it's my favorite theme from pokemon)
Edit - most of you thought it was fear tactics right!

I swear, I tried so hard to defeat Necrozma with my team that took out Dawn Wings in like 3 turns, this guy made me use my ultimate strategy that I only then realized after failing about 20 times: Have my Mimikyu use Toxic then tank with a Snorlax that somehow survived. I don't even know how it took my smol brain so long to realize it.
I did the same thing, but with Metagross instead of Snorlax.

@@johhada9304 if you use a dual type fighting type, necromanza might go after the other type. A good example is the current wr for UM. The Zorua, hidden as a Hawlucha, was attempting to Toxic UN, but second turn UN used Power gem and decimated the fox. Go look it up, pretty crazy run, with absolutely amazing rng.
I was personally lucky enough that I wasn't demolished by Power Gem, because I was disguising as Island Scan Blaziken. 2ko with Foul Play, very cool Harmonia.
@@Shoeconsumer it was the opposite for me XD Marie the Malamar got sent to a box because it didn't really help out. It knew topsy-turvy, but it could never hit them. I swapped Marie out for a Zorua, and it was much better.

In this fight, my lead was my zoroark and because of zoroark’s illusion, it kept spamming photon geyser and I foul played the shit out of it...

Dude this reminds me how because I got the love bonus on my vaporeon(which was my last pokémon standing), it tanked out a hit on 1hp and got a Z move in and beat ultra necrozma. Yeah long story short....love your pokémon!
You are face-to-face with a beast, a beast from another world that has been drained from it's light, but now, it has claimed back it's light, it is capabe of deating Arceus himself. You step forward, to stop this living chaos. It looks down at you, with its red and blue eyes, ready to take you down. Then, it shines bright majesticly, to show off its power, but you are determened to stop it, so you take another step forward. It does a freaky cry, The battle has started.
This is such a clean remix of the original, which I feel to be too busy. Extremely good job; keep going!
