There's already a solution to the bot problem in multiplayer games... it's called private lobbies and private matchmaking. Just build your own community and manually approve of those that can join and play in it. There, now you can play with other people without worrying about cheaters. FPS and fighting games have been doing this for years already.
Behind every bot is people wanting to get ahead without effort. So long as people's desire for product/results is greater than their willingness to put in the effort for it, bots will continue. It takes a systematic change in how game progression works and how games reward players in order to combat bots. Did you see the recent apex cheater that was running around with a troop of 5 bots, meaning a whole enemy team of bots and his two team mate bots, and controlling them via pings. They all had hacks and shot pro players out of the air at insane range, and the hacker player was seen swapping between the legends he controlled. Absolutely insane hacks and botting ability

I get wanting to bypass account requirements that one thinks are overly restrictive in LoL, but I wish the video would've gone more into depth on why TF2's botting crisis is so bad, as I don't think there's any such requirement for that game
TF2 dripfeeds weapons and lootboxes over time. Weapons can be broken down into scrap, which is NEARLY worthless, but with enough bots, money can be made on the in-game market
