Gold Exploration. Small Alluvial Mining by the local in Guyana.

While doing exploration in Bartica Region, Guyana, we stumbled upon a small alluvial operation done by the locals and Chinese partner. It is interesting to see that they modified a perfectly good plant to suit their needs. They are nice enough to let us took a video of their activities.

They use 8 inch gravel pump , capacity effect like 4 inch, the concentrator is not working properly. i think it cost 40~50k US dollar to get those equipment on mine site.

This is not no small mining by the guyanese locals, these people are chinese Investors. Just another set of foreigners to extrat the welt from the guyanese Nation, again and again. When the guyanese people are going to stop been fooled, the resources should not be extrated so much because we are just a population of 800.000 and their are enough locals to invest their, so in that way we can preserve the jungle (Nature) some more for our natives (indigenous) people. We need to do much more
agriculture, to produce food for our people and the Export market
