    I got mine a couple of months ago and yes it’s my go to credit card love it. Yes you do get 3% back when you shop and buy something from the Apple store. Not sure if you’re aware of this but I like to add for all my fellow active duty/veterans out there on Apple home page scroll down to the bottom and look for veterans discount and sign up. Once you verify you’re a U.S. military active duty/veteran, you’ll receive 10% off any purchase from the Apple store. I just recently purchased a Apple Watch Ultra and got 10% off the purchase plus I paid for it with my Apple Card and got back 3%. After tax and cash back it came up to around $690. Once you log on using your Apple veterans I.D. and password you see the veterans discounted price for everything in the Apple store. Pretty cool savings.

      I am a veteran and signed-up. Buying Apple products directed from Apple have a high price as opposed going to another source. I paid $380 for an Apple Watch Series 8, from Consumer Cellular Cell Phone Service. Apple wanted $425. There are other discounts for other things, like, hotels and food, etc.

    One thing to be careful about is asking for a new number. If your card is stolen, you don’t actually have to since the number isn’t stored on the card but I didn’t know it at the time. Changing the number when my wallet was stolen caused all sorts of problems with the Apple Store. For some reason, Apple doesn’t change your number on the Apple Store/App Store for you. You have to do it manually. It wasn’t easy to find where to change it because the obvious location may show the right number.
    I found my charges bouncing despite me thinking I had changed the number. A call to Apple support was useless, bouncing me back and forth between Apple and Goldman. I finally accidentally discovered the location where the old number was stored for the App Stores. What it shows under Payments & Shipping in the iCloud settings IS NOT the right place. I had that section right but it still bounced the charges.

    And if you don’t get accepted when you apply they’ll give a “road path” to it and what you need to do to get the card.

    The Apple card is a decent Starter Credit Card at best. Only an Apple Vloger would say that it's the best.

    • @HotshotTek
      @HotshotTek  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I mean I see your point, but I have 8 other credit cards and somehow I end up using this one the most. Which is why others can very much also benefit. Unless you have a recommendation for another card, I can look at?

    • @SledgeIncTeam
      @SledgeIncTeam ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@HotshotTek people can definitely benefit from it. I'm not saying that at all. But someone that buys a lot of Apple products would definitely benefit way more. I have it just because I knew that I could get it without getting a hard inquiry but I've probably used it 3 times and I only use credit cards.
      Also, I have 26 credit cards and for me personally, even no annual fee cards should have at least a $200 sign up bonus. Everyone is different and so are their spending habits

    For me, the top selling point for the card is the easy credit limit increases. I've had 2 so far. I qualify for another CLI in a few more days.

    • @willo8127
      @willo8127 ปีที่แล้ว

      How do you know that you qualify for another credit limit increase in a few days though?

    • @ShaineMata
      @ShaineMata ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@willo8127 You don't know for certain until you request and they either approve or deny. But there is no penalty for asking every month after you pay in full. For people who have good credit, pay in full, and make at least 20 transactions per month, the increases have been almost guaranteed. At some point the account tops out. Some people have topped out at around $34K in credit. I'm still in the $3K range, so there's room to grow. My last approval was over 90 days ago, which was the minimum wait to request another.
