Yeah, those mills were pretty dominant…lot of the structures still around in the smaller towns…gotta few more ideas floating around…more later…thanks for watching and commenting
My first thought was to brick-up the windows in the tower. If you cut the base of the center building, the windows might line-up better but the foundation would be a lot thinner than the surrounding buildings.Cool new rolling stock & locos.
Hi Anthony 👋 Happy belated...B-day !! Liking what you're representing on your background ... It's a trail & error . Dig the SD40s-2...nice railfanning...enjoyed 👍 DD
I think your Kit bashing idea's will look fantastic Anthony, Cant wait to see the Outcome. Happy Birthday To You, Love the SD40-2's and Rolling Stock. Andy M
Nice Video Anthony! Layouts looking amazing! You sure got some nice engines and rolling stock! Daves a good guy! Bet your kit bash idea turns out well, you do great work! Take care!
thanks Ian…appreciate the compliment…too many engines and rolling stock for my layout size but, oh well 😊… got some more ideas since the video…more to come…
Hi Anthony, Fabulous building ideas. as the main buildings have flat roofs and with the difficulty of draining rainwater off a sloped roof between two other buildings I think you should cut the peak off the center piece and make that a flat roof too. It would probably look better too. That's my 2 cents. Cheers, David.
Anthony, Happy Belated young man. I think you have a good idea as far as the building kitbash. As suggested, it might not be a bad idea to throw up a mockup but your idea is pretty straight forward so you may be able to avoid that. Those Scale Trains units are one of the many reasons I envy HO scale modelers like yourself. Lastly, to accomplish your weathering goals maybe consider doing 5-6 car bunches. I find this makes significant progress on my weathering efforts and provides some motivation to do more. Look forward to your progress on this building.
thanks Dave…yep, mockups are great…have done them before…got something else in mind that may simplify the issue…ST are some nice diesels…will take your advice on weathering projects…hopefully have an update soon
Anthony, Why not put the tall sections together and add that lower building on one end. You may also find another leftover building to put on the other side as well. Nice sounding and running trains…..John
😂😂wonder why…it’s an Athearn RTR that has a tsunami 2 with keep alive installed…I was able to snag 3 of these for $100 apiece at Timonium…plan to name them after my 3 uncles…gotta get the decals made
HI Anthony layout is looking awesome thanks for sharing.😊😊👍👍

they look awesome and A Happy birthday to you .🍰🍰🍰🧁🧁🧁🧁🧁
😂😂probably would’ve eaten all that…thanks
Even if it's a background structure it is going to be HUGE! Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

Like your idea for the back drop building. You stretched it pretty well. Gonna look sweet when it's done..
Hey Pappy…you replied to John’s comment…gotta a few ideas floating around to consider since I made that video…thanks for watching and commenting
Yeah John, that will happen…adding scenery, etc. along the building it probably won’t show…working through some other options also…
Nice additions to your fleet. That looks like it's going to be a fun build Anthony.
Thanks GrandPa…I hope so and it doesn’t turn into a pain in the 🫏
Thanks for the shout out 😁 back drop buildings idea looks great and nice new power for the GSB

You may want to create building mock-ups using card stock to see how the two options will work for you.
Right Joseph, considered that…got some more options floating in the brain 😊 to consider…thanks for watching and commenting
Glad you’re back and getting some train time in. Look forward to seeing how this turns out!
thanks…me too…working thru some other options

Nice to see you posting again, I enjoyed seeing what you have going on, be safe out there 👍🏻
thanks…appreciate that…will do
How did I miss this video!? I like the idea of the building in the center there. Layout looks great
Don’t know Bud 😊…thanks for catching up…preciate ya…
Looks like a good plan, Anthony. I would cut down the base of the joiner piece and keep the window, but its your layout, so its up to you. Cheers, Jim
thanks for the comment Jim…got some other ideas up my sleeve…more to come
Hi Anthony, always enjoy your videos. I know what you mean about weathering cars...eventually...
Thanks 👍🏽…appreciate the the weathering support 😊

Neat kit Anthony.
Thanks
Hi, Antony, If you cut the base of your centre section so the windows line up it will look about right.
Yep, that’ll work…gotta couple more ideas floating in my brain…thanks for watching and commenting

good idea John…between your comments and some others I’ve come up with a totally different plan 👍🏽
Sorry I don't have any suggestions for the structure Anthony, but I'm sure you'll wow us with the end results
😂😂sure hope so Ron…thanks for watching
Love that 3225… not sure why… 🤔😬
